All this talk of frugality on the forums is great- financial discipline is absolutely necessary!

    But……

You have to REWARD yourself along the way!

    —–

and my net worth just hit $50,000!!!

I decided to celebrate by purchasing the best massage chair money can buy:

I’m currently getting my ass, feet, and shoulders massaged while in zero-gravity mode…

    —–

Once I hit $100,000 net worth I’m going to get my pilots license

Might as well fly up in the clouds where the femstoppo can’t getcha!

    —–

I’m interested to know what all you guys are p~~~ing your money away on now that you’ve purged the pussy-parasites…

And what do you plan on p~~~ing it away on in the future?

Please post pictures so all the fem-lurkers can see the resources being diverted away from their fish-tacos…

I’m all for it and wish you the greatest success! BTW, I recommend you go to one of those week intensives for your license. It actually costs less than stretching it out over months and months.

Frugality: I deny myself the $100/month cost of satellite TV.
Reward: I buy books and DVDs for far less than $100/month.

Frugality: I live far from town, and my mortgage is less than a tiny apartment in town would be.
Reward: A huge yard for my dog to run loose in and a quiet neighborhood.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

I want nothing in my life but peace. That’s what I’m striving for. I want to have the power and the freedom to never see another human being in my life if I don’t want to. I want the peaceful life. Once you’ve had all the toys, you realize they don’t bring any happiness into your life. They’re a great way to WASTE your life.

The only thing I splurge on is technology. Because I’m a computer technician, I need and deserve the best technology I can get. I’m thinking about getting a nice 40″ standing touchscreen monitor from ELO that I can use to work standing up. Since Windows 10 is so touch friendly, it’s a perfect fit. But I know that the only happiness it’s going to bring me is less backaches from sitting all day. I think of it as more of a need than a want.

Good for you, Sovereign! I’ve decided to spend less money on lunch. Sometimes I spend $5 during my lunch break. I’m trying to buy some cheap food so I can save a few dollars. If I can eat $2 worth of food during my lunch break, I might be able to save $3. It’s a small step toward being financially stable. I have so many bills to pay that I can’t even consider dating women. The best time of the year is when I take a vacation and visit family and friends. The rest of the year is a boring routine of work, chores, movie, sleep, and work. I swear, I have the most boring life you could hope for. But I have a plan to make it better in a few years. I just need to keep paying down my debt.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

Good call RoyDal! I will most certainly look into that when the time comes. For now it’s time to achieve the next level of financial sovereignty, so that’s still a couple years away.

I want the peaceful life. Once you’ve had all the toys, you realize they don’t bring any happiness into your life. They’re a great way to WASTE your life.

I already have peace, and yes I agree toys are relatively unimportant. I tend to go for useful things. I do very physical work, out in the elements all day… so a massage chair is a real nice treat at the end of a long day.

Once you have material abundance in your life, you realize it’s no guarentee of happiness. I’ve sorted all my problems out and I’m not trying to fill any void in my life. That’s certainly a trap.

Personally I could probably go become a Buddhist Monk. Do nothing, own nothing, be nothing… And I’d be perfectly content with that.

It’s just that I’d be bored as s~~~. I enjoy being productive, so I might as well eat like a King and have a certain degree of luxury.

pay yourself first. take whatever you want to save and put it away before you pay anybody else. pay all the other crap with what’s left. Too many people do it the other way. Pay everyone else and save what’s left, which is usually low or nothing.

Yes I save 50-60% of my income. Everyone talks about cooking their own food and skipping the cup of coffee every morning. That’s a retarded way to be frugal, IMHO.

I’ve found that you’re better off focusing on the big three- housing, transportation, and pussy. A man’s 3 biggest expenses.

-I live in an efficiency apt in a low-income neighborhood. I own the building and my tenants pay my mortgage. It only costs me a few hundred per month for utilities.

-I drive a 13 year old honda civic. Paid off and it costs me about $100 per month for gas/ins/maintainance.

-Fleshlight makes orgasm free so I got that covered. No pussy-problems

If you want to save money focus on those 3 things. A $2 cup of coffee isn’t going to save you s~~~. In fact if your time is truly valuable it doesnt make any sense spending an hour of your day preparing a lunch and making your own breakfast and all that. It’s really not much cheaper once you factor in lost time.

Cooking your own food is not only cheaper but healthier
and I can make better coffee @ home than most of those idiots at overpriced shops.

A little reward now and then is nice but my biggest is seeing the investments I started growing.

Older cars/trucks are the way to go as well-hey you can actually work on them!

Renting is good too but tenants aren’t my thing, too many f~~~ing losers to screen and you’re on call basically 24/7 for any maintenance or other issues.

Trying to find a good tenant from what I’ve seen is as hard as finding that damn ‘unicorn’!

Man,I wish Canada had laxer firearm requirements for law abiding citizens, suppressors are prohibited here as are certain calibers and full autos.

It’s true. Live life, you have to have money for the future, but you can’t take it with you once you die. I don’t want to live life with any regret. I don’t wanna be 70 years old before I START LIVING.

That being said, it doesn’t take much to make me happy. Live frugally, so that when you want something, you can have it. See my thread about my new bike =D

    Finally bought a motorcycle

I reward my frugality by buying more stock lol. Every time I buy a few hundred more shares of whatever I’m buying into at the time, I feel like I’m that much closer to retiring super early, which will be the ultimate reward. If the next few months are nice to me this might be the first year my capital gains out paced my spending! Its pretty motivating to be at that point although I’d like to be at that point with only 3-4% gains and not 20%+ so its actually sustainable…but it still feels awesome to maybe hit that milestone this year.

My reward when I am done.

Just a few more years and I will be done working for good. The above will be my reward.

Don't stick your dick into anyone you aren't willing to put up with for eighteen years and nine months.
