Sure would be, seen a BT-4 stuffed in a 69 Camero, what a lovely sound. Being the Cutlass is bigger I think the 12 valve might be able to fit or just extend everything since money was no object. Haha, Who would expect a Cutlass to sound like a Mack truck and screaming down the road? No one. I was big into the performance Diesels when I had my 7.3DIT in my F350. Rodded it a little, although money became more and more of an object so it had to go. Although the sound of the 12 valve Cummins 5.9L Diesel is wonderful and it is in my opinion the best built mechanical light duty Diesel from the factory of its time period.

Excellent point. This may be why I prefer straight stock, simple but awesome, and I would want to keep it to myself as a daily driver, no shows, etc.
