The analogy can work when describing why a man should make more money than a woman who is doing the same job. Because we do more work and handle larger amounts. Hang on a second, sex for a man involves figuring out the desires of women, (consciously or subconsciously) overcoming the fear of rejection, building up confidence then approaching with a real possibility of rejection. The act of sex involves the MAN performing to arouse and satisfy a woman.
Sex for a woman simply involves accepting the advances of a man. Absolutely no risk of rejection no effort or investment. Then the actual sex itself involves very little effort on her part.
Traditionally she is meant to extract commitment, but because society has given women the right to be sluts, and men now are the gatekeepers of commitment, her contribution doesn’t come close to his, that’s why he is lauded and she is shamed.
She has given him what he wants without getting commitment.

I would suggest that the lock and key metaphor (aside from being visually accurate) represents the massive difference between the natural reproductive values of men and women.

Women’s reproductive value is high. A single womb can only produce a limited number of offspring and the species can not afford to waste those opportunities. Women are represented by the lock because, to maximize their reproductive success, women MUST make it difficult for a man to be worthy of inseminating her. He’s got to have good genetics to father strong, healthy children, and he’s got to be able to protect and provide for her and her offspring during and after childbirth. A man has to prove he is worthy of claiming and utilizing the reproductive capacity of a womb… f every woman just gave it up to the first guy who arrived, the entire species would suffer as a result.

Men’s reproductive value is, by comparison, practically nil. Any given pair of nads could impregnate hundreds or thousands of females. This is where the visual metaphor breaks down… the key does not represent the man’s dick, it represents the precise combination of strengths and capabilities he must possess to open vaginas. In the biology game, individual men don’t matter all that much. We’re very much like our sperm in that regard… you just send a million of them and so long as one of them gets the job done, the job is done and nobody cares what happens to the rest.

This is the underlying logic of why women behave the way they do toward us. They don’t CHOOSE to do these things, they’re just acting out the script that nature gave them… some with more skill and enthusiasm than others, of course, but very few of them with any consideration for whether or not they want to be playing that role or if it’s even relevant in this day and age. Most men are doing exactly the same thing.

Doesn’t much matter anyway, we here are the thinking ones… we know what’s going on and so we can choose to play along or not. There isn’t even any point to discussing it with the rest of them because they won’t understand and if they do they won’t acknowledge it and if they do they won’t change and if they do it’s just a ruse.

If you’re “lucky” enough to be one of the guys who was born with (or acquired) the right combination to get pussy, have fun with that. If not, let it go… probably wasn’t worth the effort anyway.

Funny story, I once dated a psychopath for the sex and she had this fat friend.
