When my ex wife was arrested for DV the police gave me some numbers to call.

They refered me to the homeless shelter and to counciling for men who abuse women.

WTF?

When we lived in another town namely,

Miami,

years earlier,

and i called about her hitting me the police laughed about it.

I was suicidal for years.

Nobody realy gave a damn.

Men and their children could get psychological help in a shelter.

When my x wife was arrested for hitting her last husband ,he bailed her out of jail and she took MY son and dissapeared into a DV shelter.

He called and told me about it a few days later.

So guys.What do you say?

If feminism really is about equality for everyone, here they have a chance to prove it. Let men’s shelters be made. The very fact that Erin Pizzey went through the s~~~ that she did – and still does to this day – just confirms what we all know, that it’s not about equality and never has been.

Yup there should be tax funded DV shelters and services for men.

The only ones here are funded by the National Lottery. Government wont do anything

The research is starting to come out that more men than women are injured and die are a result of DV and abuse

When you count the men injured by heart attacks and strokes as a result of DV, more men are harmed. Now the evidence is coming out the Government will start facing personal injury claims

The current UK PM was behind a lot of this sexist approach. I hope it comes out in the press and she faces charges

I do agree on every point. My personal luck was that women are not as strong as men. I wouldn’t have made it though childhood or I would have defended my self “on a different level” meaning “It’s either me or you”…

I hope that very soon the pussy pass is replaced by loneliness, low income, no slave, obesity and cats. Because there is no other way of solving this. Or has anybody ever succeeded in teaching manners to a woman?

As for shelters, yes we need them badly. Or no shelter and new laws…

I always know who started the argument and what for… And instead of playing the escalation game, I go right to the end and tell them their real deep psychological motives for starting the argument in the first place… And that it is most like not about “the item itself”. Actually, my home is a men’s shelter if needed. Over the years I had to “give asylum” to various old friends and their stereo systems. In 1996, a friend called me at 2 a.m. in the morning. “Please get me out and come with an empty car. Hey help, she started to dent up my speakers” (10000 DM/pair)… One speaker filled the trunk and the other one went on the backseat.

He had a taxi. Man saved, stereo saved.

I almost died from Barium, which is almost identical to Arsenic. My Barium (Rat poison and medieval wood preservative) came from the wooden structure of an old house, not from a criminal act. But I know what it does and that it took me a lot of luck and education to find it. If had died in 2014, no one would have cared. No one would have known.

Getting someone “around the corner” (German expression) with this would be child’s play. I would know how to do it so I will not write about it. That’s not what the Federal Violence Against Women Act requires and that’s not what the Duluth model suggests.

And if it is clear the man has done nothing, most of the police officers I have spoken to try to find every reason not to arrest the man and in many cases arrest the woman.

While the cops on the scene can push the envelope a little, there are more than enough advocacy groups looking over their shoulders for any evidence of the politically-motivated policies not being followed. The cops can only tweak things so far. If the percentage of male arrests per DV calls drops below a certain number, you can bet that the Usual Suspects will begin howling for blood.

It can be as simple arresting for falsely calling the police and lying to the police.

How many women are arrested and removed for false reports compared to how many men are arrested and removed “just because”? I’d be shocked if the ratio was even close to 9:1.

VAWA requires the man be removed as does the Duluth model. Just with the idiotic DARE programs and for much the same reasons, the Fed’s own studies prove the Duluth model does not work and yet it’s still the basis of nearly all DV programs in the US and abroad.

The police know that DV is a 50/50 proposition, just as police know that mothers kill children more than any other group. The police are prevented, however, from acting on those facts by their political masters.
