I got my Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in 2001. I was 29 years old. I wasn’t a Wall Street banker, though I could have gone that direction. I was a commercial banker. I worked with large companies, helping them with lines of credit and other loans. It was a fun job. I was like a rock star at my bank. Six figure (barely) salary. Got to use the luxury box at NFL and NHL games. Good times.
Damn man. We are the same age. I can’t imagine having been married and divorced 5 times by this age in life.
I was saying on another thread I have had my own crazy s~~~ to deal with in life – all of which was done and dusted before I met my wife.
We married when I was 39. She kicked me out when I was 42. Then another s~~~ storm began.But man 5 times. I’m not trying to rub it in. I’m feeling thankful for the s~~~ I had to deal with.

Yeah, beautiful women always have options and they know it. Anytime life is the slightest bit difficult they start exploring their options. They always have a bench full of thirsty simps and orbiters. They always think the grass is greener. They all think they can do better. I have told my oldest two children to never marry. The youngest are too young for that conversation.
It has been kinda fun finally telling my oldest daughter (15) why I divorced her mom. She asked and I am always brutally honest with my kids.
No worries Doc. I don’t get upset over it anymore. It is what it is. It happened. I just hope my stories will help save others from falling into the same traps.
I am in a good place now. I used some of my settlement money to buy a 54 acre farm. I don’t farm it. I lease it to a farmer. It allows me to live in the country while someone else pays my property taxes and then some. Also farm ground doesn’t lose value very easily. I travel the world and scuba dive. I have a good job that I enjoy. I still get laid often. I spend a lot of time with my kids. I have a dog that loves me. I have peace and tranquility. That’s about all you can ask for in life.

Gargamel- you need to expand your car collection! Love cars. Can’t imagine having as few as you have had. I currently own four. Only one is a sports car. The others serve different functions.
My cars are ancient and my last real crash was 24 years ago.
These cars all have had more than 9 cat lives as they are abused and get to see the road as a racetrack.
There are only a few models out there that can handle my abuse.
I currently have 2: One VW Bus utility vehicle that is “on vacation” and another tuned up 2.5 TDI diesel stinker that does somewhat around twice the power it was sold with.
Only the 250 HP+ big Audi’s and BMW’s get away…
Hardly ever on mountain roads, these are my habitat.
The good thing is that the car is incognito. People can’t sort me out and I did some very artistic things with it by now. It just passed the 300,000 km mark a few days ago.
Well if they catch me in traffic doing things “my way”, I can play the innocent card: “See: 18 years old, no accidents and a 24 year old claim-free and “discounted” insurance statement… I am not a risky driver”…

It once worked to get out of a big speeding ticket…
Well they don’t look at my brake discs having blue hardened spots every time… And the flies on my windshield even in the winter time…
But I have plans to buy a third car. (For special purposes)
I had so few cars in my life as I hardly ever wrecked them. I drive in a style that would kill me if I ever f~~~ up. And I can’t drive slow when the weather allows it.
My father said: “Become good or die”… He wanted me to slow down and become “afraid” of accidents. Since that could not be done, I had to learn not to have accidents.
There were so many “close calls” that I now mostly have because of other idiots texting while driving and I avoided the crash by millimeters.
But I never had a c~~~ next to me causing accidents. I guess that is the main reason.
My only 2 accidents ever were on unexpected black ice… And since then, I drive very cautiously and tactically when the roads are wet and temperatures fall.
Then I let stupid c~~~s tailgate and push me around… Until the snow gets so thick that I am alone again…
If you have no pressuring and bitching “co-driving” c~~~ in the passenger seat, you need 1 car in 20 years.
If there is a nagging female next to you, you smash at least 5 cars in 20 years…
That is why statistically “men have more accidents”… LOL.

Turns out my wife had severely hurt our son while I was away. He was in a coma. My wife was arrested but got out on bail (her parents in Germany sent money). He remained in a coma for a month before I had to make the decision to pull the plug. He passed away shortly thereafter.
It took me a few minutes more to digest your son’s story…
Your son was not so lucky as I must have been while defending myself against vile c~~~s when I was just a toddler.

Gargamel- love your explanation on the cars. I come by my car thing naturally. My dad got a new car every couple years. He was obsessed and he always had a sports car.
I went through a ticket phase a few years back. Got several tickets in a short span. Had my license suspended for a month. I could only drive to work and back and I had to give them the route I drove. That fixed me. Drive more carefully now.
It went all the way to a 2 week jury trial. I was awarded a s~~~ ton of money.
In Germany you hardly get any compensation if someone f~~~s you up.
Driving a car built like a tank is the best defense.

Gargamel – I will read your story tomorrow when I have more time. I think I read some of it already.
My son was 3 months old when he died. I flew his body to my hometown and buried him next to my father. His mom has never seen his grave.
When I arrived at the hospital the detectives didn’t waste any time with me. I had a rock solid alibi as I was a couple hundred miles away. My ex has to this day never told me what actually occurred. The doctors said the head trauma was equivalent to him being dropped head first off a 2 story building. She begged me to give her another chance for years. She said she would do anything and would give me more kids. As you can imagine I could not overcome my grief. In all probability she had bad postpartum depression, but I can still never forgive. She remarried another soldier back in Germany and has 2 sons. Ironic.

This is off topic, but if we’re talking about cars now, I wanted to vent: I got myself a blown ’05 GTO last fall with over 500hp and already hit a wall on some black ice just before I was planning to get new tires. The frame is intact, but it needs some major suspension and bodywork now. I’ve been sad for the last month because of that. I love to drive that thing so much that I miss it. The f~~~ing shop takes forever to start working on it

I spent endless amounts of money on stereo equipment and music.
And of course building my company. I had to start with almost nothing.
Due to the lack of money, my first 2 cars were self-restored 1970’s limousines that had rust holes in them and I saw it as some kind of craftsman education to take it apart, fix the bodywork and then gather parts from 20 other cars and “model variants” to make one that looks good and passes the strict German TÜV inspection on the first date.
And then I also practiced welding and painting on friend’s cars…

I lost a good friend who was connected to my family since i was a kid . He was a few years older than me . Mad mark . Like an older brother . A mentor .
Him and his partner lived with me once as well back in the day . Wild days
His son who was just a teenager when he passed was his dad . Pure chad . Me and my partner back then would baby sit him some times . Chadling. ( i was worse than this kid at his age ) kicked out of kindy and everthing else there on in .
They had a nice home on a property in the end . Everything .
So this kid died on a trail bike after severing an artirey .
The father was good at keeping secrets . This is many years ago now .
Sometimes you might see him with a paper in his hand , he could not read .
His pain became to much and he took his own life as well .
Been to a few funerals in my day but the death of a child is very different especially if your connected .

Although some things people have gone threw we may underestimate or over estimate due to our own life expierence . Self awareness .
One guy that i really felt for i met when i was only young lost his young son to an accident drowning in a swimming pool .
He filled the pool in with dirt . Very sad .
Grieving after loss is a normal emotion . Normal for men and natural . The process can be longer than some may think . As men are expected and wanted by society to “MOVE ON ” . Hear that word alot even after terror attacks .
I will move on when i decide . Not when a woman decides or society/corrupt .
I lost my mum as a kid . One thing that stuck in my mind was what an old cool arse priest said to me . Well explained life to me as a kid . Always held on to it as far as life and time go .

Actually i have from time to time been talking to a mother who is in self destruct mode after loosing a daughter in her twenties . She broke her leg and was dead the next day , think from a clot . I got her son a new punching bag recently as i got a couple for a discount price a little while ago .
The grief is handled different by everyone close .
Grief can cause people to divide within the family . NOT TALKING about greed or who is getting what wich is common these days .
False tears p~~~ me off at funerals . I sniff the room for who has a touch of vics rub on the backs of there fingers .
Some people may not want to see or talk to certain people because they are in pain . Memories .
Some people may sit and talk and talk .
But if some one is grieving don’t assume the man hates you or anyone for that matter .

What I am doing now is less dating than more like a FWB. Every time I see her we f~~~. Kind of a glorified booty call but way less than a girlfriend. Thanks Doc for the kind words. I feel like the Count of Monte Cristo (which is the best book ever written by the way). I have undergone great tragedy but I still have my wealth, a good bit of my health and freedom galore.

Apologies for not being clear in my first post brother.
Mangina is ubiquitous among men to varying degrees. Red pills stop the virus but it is always there. Any season MGTOW who still has a relatively strong sex drive would confirm that continued red pills is the only way to keep that mangina locked away.
I wasn’t calling you mangina in a crowd. I call out my mangina tendencies time to time.
