I did a rant on this subject a while back on here. TV TOTALLY SUCKS. When I tried to turn in my cable box a year ago after they raised my rates, I called them to drop the CATV service. Eureka! They “just happened” to have a “promotion” that extended my original rates for another year. When I asked about cancelling the CATV entirely and just keeping the internet, they said “it would be more expensive than if you just take the promotion”.
My cable carrier was just bought out by a FOREIGN company. This “promotion” just ended and I didn’t even bother to call this time. Rather than pay them for the privilege of globalist NWO brainwashing, I just went straight to the cable store and dropped off my box. The lady behind the counter said “Cutting the cord, eh? This is been the trend.”
Gee…I WONDER WHY…could it be because…TV SUCKS??????
Got myself one of those $40 Kodi boxes from Amazon. I can watch a lot of the old classics which doesn’t even compare to the ABSOLUTE S~~~ on mainstream media today…
Most of the time I’m out and about living my REAL MGTOW life, anyway.

I need just a computer and internet to watch my favourite shows and read news.
If there’s still a TV here it’s just because sometimes my mother comes back; that devil machine belongs to her.
Sometimes I still turn on it, listen at the advices… and then I do the OPPOSITE.
Men of the Middle Age were not "oppressing" women. They were just SURVIVING.

I think this is a mistake the oligarchs have been making. When you’re trying to brainwash and indoctrinate people, you can’t also charge them for the privilege.
School and cable TV should be provided for free. We are lucky that they aren’t, because more people can unplug. But if I was one of these elites, I would bring it up in those secret meetings that they screwed up on trying to take profit on that. It would be like charging the slaves for tools and chains. Of course some of the slaves would just refuse to pay, and then go free. Derp.

Television/satellite: SEVERED.2005 Purchases Sirus-XM sattellite radio-(lifetime subscription all channels).
Happy ever since!
When visiting the zombies that still absorb the trays I move to another room or go outside, I can’t tolerate what it’s emitting, it’s like kryptonite to Superman!

Yes. When after 6 months I found out I hadn’t watched anything, I decided to get rid of the subscription. Never missed the damn thing either.

, I stopped watching it around 5 years ago.
No TV for 1 year and 8 months. I do however have to deal with cable news channels routinely due to work.

GregBo, It appears that we might have some things in common.
I disconnected my TV service in 2008; I have three TVs now and only use them for DVDs and VHS tapes. And even now, I regularly piecemeal the DVDs and VHS tapes that I start because I’m too busy to stop and commit a couple of hours watching them nonstop. Also, I will frequently play the DVDs and VHS tapes in the background as I’m doing something else. Case-in-point: “The Cannonball Run” with Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuise is playing in the other room as I’m typing this right now; they make great background noise.

Hopefully more than breathing and standing upright. 🙂 PM some time if you like.

I ONLY watch sports and occasionally, nature documentaries.
I get every other (useful) info from the internet.
My brother make you no follow sheeple o. Look them and Go Your Way.I’m 25. I never had Cable when I was growing up. Just watched VHS tapes and DVD’s when they finally came out. I got Cable when I was 15 and could afford to pay for it, but I never really watched it very much. I just pirated the shows I wanted to watch and downloaded them to my computer. I canceled the Cable when I moved about a year later and never hooked it up again.
I now pay for Netflix because it’s so cheap, but just like Cable I never really watch it. I have my downloaded pirated shows on my hard drive that I watch when I really want to watch something. I haven’t downloaded a new show in about 5 years because there’s just nothing worth watching or downloading. Even though I can pirate and get anything I want to watch for FREE, I don’t do it because there’s literally nothing worth watching. It’s sad…
I watch TV when I visit friends/family or when I’m renting a motel room during a vacation.
I don’t have a TV set in my apartment. I’d rather watch YouTube videos. Sometimes I just listen to music and read online news articles. Most of the programs on TV aren’t worth watching. I truly believe that most TV shows were created to lower people’s IQ.
I don’t like 99.9% of reality shows (there was this one show called “Flip or Flop” that I liked, but the married hosts got a divorce), I don’t like Dancing with the Has Beens, I don’t like CNN, MSNBC, or Fox, I don’t like detective dramas, I don’t like kangaroo courtrooms, I don’t like football games, I don’t like sitcoms that everyone else thinks is funny (2 and 1/2 Men), I don’t like to watch “housewives” that are married to rich men and NEVER clean the house or fix sandwiches, I don’t like watching a bunch of people who are frightened because there are zombies chasing them—-at 2 miles per hour, I don’t like watching Wendy Transvestite’s celebrity gossip, and I don’t want to watch one of the Kardashian chicks ruin the life of another NBA star, musician, or Olympic gold medalist.

100% no tv. I stopped watching news about 20 plus years ago. Dropped tv completely after my last divorce two years ago.
I do have Netflix (very questionable what with all their “strong” women characters they seem to push) and Amazon Prime.
I miss NBA and NFL a little bit. Less and less as time goes on. All part of the matrix.
"Women are directly adapted to act as the nurses and educators of our early childhood, for the simple reason that they themselves are childish, foolish, and short-sighted—in a word, are big children all their lives, something intermediate between the child and the man, who is a man in the strict sense of the word. Consider how a young girl will toy day after day with a child, dance with it and sing to it; and then consider what a man, with the very best intentions in the world, could do in her place.” Quote from Arthur Shopenhauer, 17th century philosopher

Anonymous1I see a pattern here, meaning that the MGTOW will not watch useless s~~~ on a TV anymore. Sure there are some documentaries and sometimes some good movies, but those are like 10% of the content the TV offers, the rest is trash. Why turning on something that DECIDES what you are going to watch when you can search for documentaries online, some of the best italian culture programs that are on the TV can be found online aswell, so why would I bother watching ADS, or waiting for the program to start etc.
It is MY time and I decide when I am going to look at things, not someone else.
TV, enemy down.
I have two or three programs I watch, and am still on cable. On average, I watch about 20 minutes a day. For instance, I’ll probably watch ‘Sunday Morning’ today, and I like to watch PBS Newhour maybe once a week, DESPITE the left-wing bias on political stories. I also occasionally watch documentaries, ‘How it’s Made’, and local programming/news/local PBS affiliate.
The average American watches about 5 hours a day of ‘Programming’. They have to learn which Consumer Goods they MUST buy, which McMansion they MUST buy, and which of the politicians from the two crooked political parties they MUST vote for.

Anonymous11I only watch Hogan’s Heroes on TV.
I cut the cord so no cable or satellite. I will stream a decent documentary or non-PC TV show or movie on occasion. Streaming is perfect for my chaotic life.
I might do 4 hours total a week of viewing and 2.5 of that is Hogan’s Heroes.
I do however have to deal with cable news channels routinely due to work.
You have my condolences.
Yes. The only thing I watch now is Phelous reviews (and to a lesser extent, reviews by Nostalgia Critic and the Cinema Snob) and really, really, really terrible movies.
This week Cool Cat Saves the Kids landed on my dash. It’s a horrendous children’s film that tries to promote gun safety and anti-bullying to the younger generation, but with a guy in a crude cat costume. We’ll put it this way: I am now a fanboy of Barney.
But there’s something that makes me laugh in every scene. You can’t get that on TV anymore.

Hey C, I have whole series, plus the Twilight Zone, Bonanza, Wild Wild West, Kung-Fu, The Paciffic series, And the other series that went all the way to the eagle’s nest, Several WWII documentaries one with all original films done by the press corps.
And women want want special f~~~ing treatment? They should be feeding their men grapes and sucking his dick bone dry!
Nothing less will do and I guess that’s why I’m here!
Here’s what I’m doing with my old dishes when I get time.
