    Yes or no?

Just a question that got me curious of how many of us get rid of that s~~~.

For me is a yes, I stopped watching it around 5 years ago.

Yeh as we were talking about it an hour or so ago on zoom, the only thing it ever gets switched on for now is a big sports event.

As I’ve said in previous posts I have not owned a TV since 2006. Best thing I ever did outside of becoming MGTOW. You become a helluva lot more productive. Trust me.

Yes. And also about 5-6 years ago,. The day I saw “The Talk” episode with Sharon Osborne where a husband’s dick was cut off and the entire female audience was cackling in hysterics.

I happened to see it on youtube – and would never watch “daytime TV” – but I’m glad I saw it. Immediately called TIME Warner and said “CANCEL IT NOW – RIGHT NOW.”

When they asked me why, I told them why.
And then I wrote to CBS.

It was the first time I ever made a formal complaint about anything – to any organization, or company. I have never even sent a imperfect steak back, and would still tip the waiter….. but this was the f~~~ing END of TV as far as I was concerned.

Many places , bars and restaurants have TVs and I barely glance at them.

Again as I said in a recent post. The media interviewed me back in 2006 and decided NOT to run the story at all. I placed the TV on the corner where I live and put a “free” sign on it. Gone within an hour.

I have not had cable for the majority of my life; I’m late 30s. When I was growing up, we had about 5 stations through the UHF/VHF antenna. As an adult, I subscribe to a single streaming service and watch online shows.

I will order on bluray series like Game of Thrones, Rome, and Boardwalk Empire.

I never had a TV in college. Working full time and going to school…I didn’t have time to watch TV. Since coming to the southeast I haven’t had my TV set up at all. I watch sports at the bar or on my computer. Movies on Netflix and other movie sites give me all the entertainment I need.

Lost it in the divorce, Chad has his ass on my nice leather recliner that I picked out and bought, watching my big ass tv that I picked out and bought, brought home and set up, with a 9 speaker home theater surround sound system I installed, built into the walls, drinking beer that I would have forbidden out of my fridge that I bought, carried home in my van and shoved up a flight of stairs myself, then put in a water line for the water and ice dispenser before laying down the flooring that I selected and installed, and built a surround for the fridge to match the rest of the kitchen. F~~~ you Chad.

F~~~ you c~~~ for having some useless f~~~ that you knew from high school that you found on f~~~book. F~~~ you for f~~~ing up our 11 year marriage, f~~~ you for wrecking my relationship with out two daughters and f~~~ you for siphoning money that you don’t need making me homeless, and unable to have any savings.

F~~~ you Chad and C~~~ for f~~~ing things up for me

But bless you for the freedom to do whatever I want for the good of me, on my terms, at my price. I can’t thank you two absolute morons for that. I am a far stronger person now than I ever though I could be. Today, I am f~~~ing amazing.

Good luck Chad. I lasted 3 years of dating and 11 years of marriage putting up with her bulls~~~. Let’s see if you were worth the $300,000 divorce. lololololololololol My freedom is worth every penny.

ummm sorry for the umm side trip. TV, lost on July 24, 2009. I watch stuff on the internet, on my time.

Haven’t had cable in 11 years. Don’t have a digital antenna. Had Netflix for a while but dropped that maybe two years ago. I still go to friends places to watch GOT. Once that’s over, maybe I’ll be done for good.

I’ve said it before in this forum.

I have not had a television (and accompanying cable) in over twelve years. I gave away my television and had cable disconnected in May 2005

And since then, I began truly living life.

I honestly don’t know how people even have five minutes to spare to watch television.

I know that I don’t. But that is because I maximize every available minute of my life and am conscious of the fact that the clock is ticking.

My condo is full of boxes of books that I have read. I even use two of the boxes for a coffee table with a piece of plywood on top of them.

The only internet I have is from my phone and have to tether it to my laptop occasionally.

And speaking of my laptop. Bought three years ago, refurbished for $239 and it still works great.

Minimal household items. Two bath towels. And currently no carpet. Had to pull it as my dog has got older and won’t have it replaced until he passes away.

The ‘pillow’ on my bed is a duffel bag that I put a comforter in to give it some form.

My cell phone: A $59 Coolpad Catalyst. I wish the world good luck with their $700 IPhones.

The dishwasher in my kitchen doesn’t even work.

NOW: Go ahead, laugh it up –

    My condo is paid off

So is the Jeep parked outside

and I have $114,000 sitting in the bank.

Time now for me to give a shout out and mad props to all the pumpkins that use to cost me money. ‘And give Sky-0 one more platinum plaque, f~~~ your holes, you can have ’em back’

Yes, a long time ago. I used to at least watch Sports until a few years ago, but then completely abandoned that as well. At most I might watch a big game here or there, and usually only as a stream ideally without commercials.

The movie Network was an anomaly in that hollysuck actually produced a movie that told the truth in your face and made a mockery of truth as it matters not. And it never will.

    Totally, since years.
I get informations through newspapers (mostly online, mostly mainstream newspapers), I have three TV sets, all LEDs, big screens, but I use the TV screens to watch downloaded movies and for the computer.
