It seems that a lot of people that are computer savvy smoke pot.We know the founders of Apple and Microsoft were. The FBI and now the Pentagon have found that the brightest and the best and a large chunk of Silicone Valley are 420 friendly.

The guys behind Atari too, for sure, and probably a lot of other game developers. (Back when Atari was king of the hill, before they became a basket case).

Peter Tosh brings back memories… getting baked in high school, those were the days!

The last I heard, the military kicks recruits out of boot camp if they test positive for marijuana, or any other drug.

So the pentagon wants to hire people the army won’t let in?

Sounds to me that they just don’t want the everyman to do it then… See how that works?

Can’t have some foot solider getting baked and then saying to his commanding officer “Dude, what? You want me to shoot who, why?”

I bet Jack would be p~~~ed off about this. Haha.

Hiring people based on if they smoke weed are not is pretty stupid. That being said, if they made marijuana legal, I’d most likely smoke it because I get really bad anxiety sometimes. Smoking weed would definitely be beneficial. Especially during job interviews. There would be no nervousness.

Well it varies for everyone. Some don’t like it socially, you may actually be more nervous at a job interview while stoned, especially if you thought the interviewer was judging you for being stoned if he could tell that you were.

It does. But when I’m buzzed on alcohol, I tend to lose all nervousness if I ever had any to begin with. My “no f~~~s given” attitude tends to go up and I tend to be more calm no matter how stressful/exciting the situation. Same affect applies when I’m on strong pain killers. So I’d assume it would be the same if I smoked weed.

Yea, I am like that too, but alcohol makes many more violent and give to few a f~~~s to the point that bad s~~~ happens, weed is not like that at all. I have witnessed the bad decisions drunks make in society all around me, I myself have only tried hard drugs when I was drunk. Weed has none of these downsides. The poor decision making is just not there when you are stoned, nothing to the extent of alcohol anyhow. Really you won’t know how weed affects you until you try it in varying situations. It is not for everyone.

Which is why I’d rather be in a room full of weed smokers than drunks. Drunks tend to get extremely violent/aggressive. Weed smokers tend to just want to sit down and play video games or similar activities.

I also agree with the poor decision making. Alcoholics tend to make the worst decisions ever when they’re drunk. Weed smokers tend to avoid doing extremely stupid s~~~ while they’re high.

I took an occasional toke at parties but that was in the 60’s when it was the law to get high. LOL
I personally didn’t like it’s effects because it made me very aware that I was impaired, not a pleasant feeling. Alcohol had the opposite effect and made me feel super competent and happy. Results may vary.

That’s exactly why stoners drive more well behaved. They are introspective about how stoned they are and can become paranoid to the point of not wanting to make a simple pass of an 18 wheeler. I have seen this happen. Drinking does the opposite, the more you drink the less you give a s~~~ and the cycle can devolve into something ugly.

And yet the FDA classify marijuana as a Schedule 1 “dangerous” drug drug. The worst classification possible. Right up there with heroin and above crack, crystal meth and PCP. Alcohol doesn’t even make this phony list.
Pot’s classification is purely political and not based on medical science.
Despite growing evidence that an ingredient in pot can protect against neural damage from concussions, the NFL refuses to study this for fear of losing their conservative fans. Profits trump lives.

Weed affects everyone differently some f~~~ing love it while others don’t like it.

It’s never that “Reefer Madness” type crap nor anything like a malevolent drunk. Alcohol makes some people super violent yet I’ve observed these same people calm as cucumbers while stoned.

When I was younger weed would make me less anxious, as I got older it started making me anxious. That is the main reason I pretty much eschew it these days. If I lived in a state where it were legal, then maybe I could obtain a strain that would not make me anxious.

I read the other day about a company that developed a portable tester that can detect any cheeba you’ve recently smoked in your breath. They plan to market it to police departments nationwide starting in 2017. They are currently testing it in Los Angeles. I predict it will be a huge seller for them as well as massive revenue generator for governments everywhere.

I cannot count how many times I’ve pulled up to a traffic light and watched another driver hitting a pipe. Once I saw a guy smoking from a damn huge water bong. I’d hate to spill bong water in my car.

I was in the higher end of IT, specifically Network Administration for Bank of America…And I am here to tell you, there is a lot more cannabis smoking going on in the upper echelons than most people would even want to believe…LOL…Serious though…And as for being high while doing high end work??? Well I can honestly say, that the stress of the job is so heavy you can hardly blame them for partaking as often as they can, not too mention that the level of concentration I was able to bring to the table while high was un matched by any of my sober co workers…The ONLY time I did not show up high, was when we had meetings with the executives to cover agenda for the quarter…Those guys were just too uptight for my liking…Talk about peaceful though?? Wow, smokers are the most peaceful, easy to get along with guy’s I have ever worked with…Just my 2 penny’s though…

Men are at a time when panning for gold in a urinal has a higher probability of success than finding a faithful and loving woman, it is time to go your own way.....
