    CANADIANS! Need your help…

FYI Canadians! Charges have been dropped in the Ed Maurice case! Maurice was charged (among other things) with shooting a burglar.

Maurice says he fired a ‘warning shot’. Forensic evidence says that the criminal was hit in the arm by a ricochet. The Crown knew that an Alberta jury wouldn’t convict Maurice in any case so they gave up.

This is fantastic news for the Maurice family and all non-criminal Canadians in general…

    Good news!

What is also “good” about this is the message that it sends to those degenerate F~~~ING PIECES OF S~~~ in Ottawa!

The Okotoks court dropped the charges because the case being ‘trial by jury’ the Crown knew that an Alberta jury would not have convicted the defendant Eddie Maurice. The public support Maurice was receiving made headline news. Rural home and property owners are fed-up dealing with criminals who are protected and facilitated by the federal government.

The police cannot/will not respond it time and they offer no effective crime deterrent. People now know that they need to be pro-active about their own security…

With the rising price of ammo, do not expect a warning shot.

Moral of the story don’t f~~~ing trespass.

Still, the defendant was extremely lucky to have the charges dropped. Canadian law does not recognize a citizen’s natural right to EFFECTIVELY protect their own property. Even though the bullet that hit the burglar was a ricochet, there still could have been a ‘careless use of firearm’ conviction.

“While the outcome of the case will be viewed as a victory for locals and those worried about rural crime, Crown prosecutor James Sawa said firearms charges are a serious matter and warned against firing a weapon in close to other people.”

The Crown dropped the charges because they knew that they they wouldn’t get a conviction in a jury trial. It was the high profile public support for the defendant that saved his ass. If it wasn’t for that public support and the headlines that it made, the Crown would have most certainly have tried much harder to f~~~ the guy…

Canada sure is one to talk about human rights, but the right to defend oneself from aggression all of a sudden that goes out the window.

There’s another high profile case currently ongoing that Canadians should now keep their eyes. Peter Khill in Ontario shot and killed a truck thief only after he perceived that he himself was in mortal danger.

The federal government is going to be looking to ass-f~~~ this guy hard especially after being forced to fold their hand on the Eddie Maurice case. I’m hoping that the Canadian Brothers here help spread the word in support of Peter Khill and donate to his defense if they can…
