I cannot accept things on faith i need evidence and if my so called eternal soul relies on it i especially cannot accept it on faith (there are thousands of other faiths who have faith in their versions of God some of them Christian others completely different).

I agree other than to point out that I too can identify as Jewish if I so please by converting, this does not mean I have any more or less connection to the Jews who were in the Holy Land in the time of Christ than the “Jews” who are there now. What has happened is an identity theft, and those around Israel including Palestinians, who are far more closely related to the Jews who were there in the time of Christ know it. And this is why the fighting will never stop.

Jewish in a general sense is defined as being born of a Jewish mother (to be a true Jew you must be born from a Jewish mother).

If you marry a Jew you will never be considered a true Jew for as long as you live and to get citizenship into Israel is pretty much impossible being a non Jew.

Most Jews are not from Palestine blood wise. The Jews that we expelled from Spain are closer to Palestine then the Jews who lived throughout the rest of Europe but even then it still is a faulty identity.

Outside of a really small minority of Jews living in Palestine the Jewish presence was dominated by Islam and Christianity and most of the population adopted either of those 2 ideas (yes Islam and Christianity have coexisted in regions before but this is before the time of Israel existing when the relationships between Christians, Muslims and Europeans and Arabs were not as strained).

Well, since you are one of the few people who actually has been there, I’m inclined to support your opinion. I know all those lands were once part of the Roman Empire. I’m not sure how the local peoples would feel about paying tribute to Rome again though. I was sad to see the Coptic Christians being killed off by ISIS. Cortez had a BIG pair of stones. He was up against the Aztecs, who were the SCUM of the earth. Everyone hated the Aztecs because they were basically run by a pack of serial killers.
