This is interesting but it will not make any difference to hypergamy. Hypergamy is the normal state for a normal healthy woman. Hypergamy is the driver of human evolution and the thing that made men bothered to drag us from the stone age to the internet age. Now when it comes to first dates they are an unusual case. Here two people are meeting who think they may be mate material. The mate selection has not taken place yet. Women do the mate selection as we know. Women today like to be overtly in control and they are also, as they always have been, very keen to give a good impression. We also know that people are very keen to give a good impression on a first date. Added to this there is also a real gender pay gap in the dating age range -young women earn more than young men.

It’s a “study” by Badoo: it’s a dating site making money with users.
However let’s suppose it’s true: that’s good, I approve women taking the initiative, especially the first approach, asking the man for a date, paying for the dinner, and so on. Why not? It could stop MGTOW from growing, with a good reason: if she do most the work and the efforts, and she have an income and wealth more or less equal to you, or even better, why not?
At such point I expect a woman in my age range (35-50) approaching me, she should have such features:
At least within top 15% income, possibly in the top 10% (I checked a government site and it says I’m in the top 13%)
Owns at least an house (I own two)
Owns at least a decent car (I own two)
At least decent looking (I still lift and when I was younger I have been paid – almost nothing, just only tips, I got very few tips but it’s still being paid – to dance and strip for women’s day parties: happened two times, not just only once)
She hates shopping (I hate it)
She’s good at saving money (I’m)
Bonus point if she have a boat (I have one)
Further bonus point if she published at least a book (I published two)
A degree is necessary, and even more necessary it’s a libido far greater than the average woman.

Not in my experience, in my blue pill post divorce online dating days no woman would ever offer to pay. Online dating for most women is a free night out then popping over to chad on the way home for sex. She would be texting chad during dinner, then you would get a peck on the cheek in the car park and a “sorry, there was no spark” text the next day if you were lucky, usually you would never hear from them again.
