Having seen this road a lot over the past 10/20 years I am more skeptical. 2008 was nothing more then a wasted investing opportunity.
Germany has set itself up as a key domino. Hate Trump as much as you do the man is in the process of taking the standing dominos and rearrange them. The interconnections of business are being rewritten. If the Germany falls into civil war, and the EU breaks down no big deal, the US and Asia already have backup internal supply. Thanks to all the fury over the Tariffs.
Along with these Tariffs it has brought about a disinvestment of foreign buying US debt/selling debt the had. The current tax structure ie the tax cuts have brought about a marked gain (as it always dose) in revenue to the IRS. US debt being paid for by the US. Strong US economy.

Could all this go to hell, yep impeach Trump and s~~~ hits the fan. Every day the odds of the happen drop, every day it looks more like a 2nt term is in order.

If you have money to invest, be wise and start watching the markets. Buying opportunity will show up. Be careful about internationals.

I’m more aware than most. Also, it is a much needed market correction not a collapse. I’m hearing more and more along the lines of a currency revaluation now that certain things like 3,000 resignations since Sept 2017 have been happening.
