The collapse is coming and it will make 2008 look like a blip, this is going to be the worst collapse any of us have ever seen in our lifetimes.
The apparent boom in the USA is one huge bubble consumer debt will bet at $4 trillion by the end of 2018.
You need to listen to Uncle It’sallbs and listen good prepare and prepare now this is coming an d it will be by the end of the year.
I can not even begin to tell you what is brewing in the UK because it scares me to the core and you can’t handle it and anyone who knows who says it does not scare them is a liar. UK interest rates are about to go up as are taxes.
The deluded, blinkered optimism is there like it was pre 2008 only this time the burst is going to be like nothing any of us or our fathers have ever seen.
This is financial armageddon is near this is the big one bredrin
Mark my words prepare now!
Stay safe.

I’m prepared as far as I know to be or what I can foresee. What preparations are you making? Maybe we could learn from you.
I’ve been preparing .. just got delivery of another cool blue plastic 55 gallon water storage barrel today.
I also got my new LED Camp Lantern with an ultra-low power setting that will give off 30 lumens steady light for … up to thirty days straight using the same three D batteries.I also took the entire fund from my entertainment budget for rest of the summer and instead, bought myself a new 42,000 mAh Solar Generator AC lith-ion Battery Bank with 155Wh. Total cost of unit delivered .. with carrying case and wall charger .. $149.99
.. it takes about seven hours to completely charge Power Bank off of grid .. which appears to draw about 35 watts from wall outlet while charging.
Still, I’m glad I bought it because now I can go an entire evening during an outage running a small TV if news is required, 30 watt equivalent LED floor lamp and even a 12volt small fan .. basically .. on one battery bank pre-charge.
It will also charge up my MacBook two-three times during an outage if fully charged .. using 60 watt Mac brick charger plugged into the AC on battery bank.
It’ll hold up to an 80% charge for three to six months .. so all you need to do is use it a few times a year and top off the batteries.
It has the 155 Watt-hours stored and available as AC through two regular plug-in AC outlets .. so just divide this number by the number of watts you are using on your electronics and you can see how handy this gadget will be when the grid let’s you down on any specific occasion.
.. for instance .. a 16″ 12 volt LED TV uses about 15-30 watts so my AC bank will power that rig for 155/30 = about 5 hours, rounding down .. it actually did run a test on 28″LED TV and control box at just under three hours run time .. or about 15 complete charges for a smartphone through the USB port on the power bank when there is no electric grid. Just keep it occasionally charged every three months .. and stored away on the shelf.
.. the purpose of this device is to give instant power to lamps, fans, laptops, cellphones and communications like a small LED TV using a back-of-set antenna .. during first minutes of outage so you can sit back .. have a cold one .. while it’ll run a small TV with internal DVD player for about five hours so you can sit back and “enjoy the outage”.
.. and while you’re relaxing, make the decision if you think it’s going to be a long outage .. if it’s really necessary to haul out the gas generator and start running power cords. If it’s for only one evening .. the battery bank has you covered.
The final decision to move from battery bank to gas generator is basically the refrigerator .. if you want to save the contents, my personal opinion is that you have about two hours to provide juice to the refrig .. They say four hours if you don’t open door, but with todays frost free models .. I don’t trust the temp going that long. A full freezer covered with blankets may go quite awhile .. but I’d try and get the refrigerator power much sooner. The battery bank can;t touch that load.. the refrigerator with it’s momentary start up power spike, when the compressor motor trips on, should really have a generator providing about 2200 watts .. even though it may only use about 150 watts to run. My energy saver “small” refrig uses about 100 watts running .. and I’ve seen it spike to about 850 for a few seconds starting. Without that power available .. I’d be afraid for the motor and thus, I use a 2200 watt inverter generator “dedicated” to the refrig and freezer .. only. That little generator will run at normal speed .. regular setting, not eco mode .. for quite a few hours on one gallon of gas.. and is so ultra- quiet you can barely hear it running at fifty feet. It’s tempting to set the eco mode switch when running rfrig .. however, that start up spike is so fast that the generator can’t power up past enough to provide and i worry for the compressor.. so I sacrifice a few hours of running time for the sake of the unit and keep it running at normal speed.
The places that sell generators recommend 2100 watts for start up on bigger double door refrigerators .. even though those units only use about 150-200-250 running after the compressor kicks in. Still, if the power isn’t there .. the click and struggle of the motor means that gen eco-mode switch should probably only be used for LED lamps, electronics and small draw items that don’t require a surge like motors.
Sitting and watching TV, with a small room fan and some lights while charging a laptop or phone .. you could easily set the generator on eco for that draw .. and you’ll probably go about nine hours on a gallon of fuel. That is really what eco seems to be designed for .. and the regular speed setting for most big appliances.Having a small ultra-quiet generator, about 2000 watts +- .. one that can’t easily be heard over ambient noise beyond about 100 ft .. is very important if you live in urban environment .. as they will likely become targets for theft in a dire outage. Cost for the entire set-up including a good 10 gauge cord and a gas storage can .. about $500. You can get them cheaper .. but you really want an “inverter” type for that sine wave output that is safe for electronics. The inverter models are also the quiet ones .. slightly more expensive than the open frame screamers .. but ultra clean electronically safe power and very-very quiet.
I can foresee people searching neighborhoods for these precious items .. when the grid hits fan. Relax and endure the outage in relative comfort .. about two gallons a day is all it will require using this method.Have a wireless $20 thermometer in refrig and you only need to run the motor and compressor when temps rise to about 39-40 degrees.. the rest of time let it sit quietly .. you can set read-out for this wireless device anywhere in house and it will signal a tone when temps rise to pre-set alarm level .. then re-start generator
.. the rest of this time .. give the gas powered inverter a rest .. or, flip eco switch on generator panel and power down to almost a silent 55db idle .. about the same loudness as the typical lobby of a Library
.. and just enjoy watching tv and play a DVD off grid while charging your tablets and phones .. as the generator barely sips any gas at all. Now, that’s ok living in my book during a power outage .. with no grid connection .. and about ten gallons of gas out in the shed. That unit will also power a small 750-1200 watt heater .. a small 600 watt microwave or an induction hotplate for more cooking running at about 900-1300 watts .. if you feel for a meal. Takes about two minutes to fry a couple of perfect eggs using induction .. yes, even during outage with relatively small inverter generator.
Just … temporarily unplug refrig when cooking and use hotplate alone to generator feed.
I try and keep running generator at least twenty feet away from buildings, “always outdoors” .. never in any closed space or even garage .. out of rain .. and preferably downwind for exhaust and CO gases. Keep a good Carbon Monoxide detector in living spaces whenever using portable generators nearby .. just to be safe.
Keep it silent, keep it simple.. and, keep it stealthy .. endure the outage in relative comfort.

You are likely correct. That being said, two factors to look at.
The first being where investments are going. Should President Trump’s tariff plan work, that will buy the U.S. time, maybe even stabilize the situation for the U.S.
But, the big issue at the moment is the EU censor and tax on links on the internet. If this goes forward, this will destroy the e-commerce in the EU and drive money out of the EU. Much of that money will go to the U.S.
(Also, the social media companies will leave the EU, and with Asia nations making their own social media services, these social media companies will have to turn their attention back to the U.S. market and likely stop censoring their customers in the U.S. if they want to remain in business.)
Also, there is the matter of the debts. It is likely with a strong leader, the strong leader will nullify any debts causing the banks hold the debts they created.
The fact of the matter is the debts are in the hundreds of trillions of U.S. dollars. No one can pay the interest on the debts, let along the debts themselves, yet the banks continue to create more and more debts.
These debts will default one way or another.
And with the U.S. population being armed and turning nationalistic, it is unlikely the debt holders can do anything to open towards the U.S. population.
No captain I’m telling you prepare.

Very true for foreign nationals, but citizens will have quite another story to tell and it will indeed be violent. Those who have no ability to be even partially self sufficient are doomed, but those that do survive will be confronted by those better prepared and or more aggressive.
Not a good situation to be in.
Good post It’s All, maybe you can make it this way before everything craps out.

They’re saying Trump’s tariffs will drive Canada into a recession. Turdeau promised to destroy Canada economically so everything seems to be right on track…
My ammo is into the 5 digits. Weapons that fire all the most common calibers. Also crossbows and compound bows. And night vision and body armor.
I don’t have barrels for water but I do have 5 streams and some water purification tech.

I don’t think s~~~ will happen in 2018… that is why I am allowing for my 27’x10′ underground shelter to take 2 years to dig out and build.
I intend to have s~~~ done before October 2020. I may even have 2 or 3 camouflaged, slope-defense, inward-facing cloches — each with an automated sentry gun connected via underground network cables to a laptop. (experimenting with paint ball sentry guns and upgrading the servos etc, to handle real guns and recoil)

I think it’s going to be the student loans that pop things, not any other debt. Student loans, alimony, and child support are the only “debts” that you absolutely cannot under any circumstances wriggle out from.
