It’s easy to get misled and influenced by them if you don’t know they’re Autistic and that they are liars preying on everyone’s insecurities. Everyone realistically knows there is no guy around that sleeps with a different or group of different 9s or 10s every night. But they run around telling each other how “alpha” they are, pretend they look like male model he-mans, because it’s on the internet. If you’re an honest person and normal, it’s easy to get tricked by that and also to get depressed. In a related note, this is why social media causes depression and other issues.

I used to think class segregation was a terrible and awful thing, and it showed how bad people with money are. But in truth, we need segregation, especially when we’re younger. There are good poor people out there, but the majority of poor, the majority of nerds, the majority of any of the lesser groups have tons of destructive and negative behaviors. And when you expose someone who is good and honest to that, it shapes them. For a better discussion of this idea, please see Book III of Plato’s “The Republic”. I used to think philosophy was nonsense and it was all common sense, but age has given me the wisdom to understand the majority of people in fact are imbeciles and “common sense” of the general public is worthless. There is in fact nothing new about how humans act, and philosophy is the recording of that. Compare philosophers through different ages and cultures and you see the recurring patterns.

Machiavelli isn’t really a philosopher but he mentions effeminate men. Effeminate was often defined as a man that obsessed over women and would keep seeking sex. They’d wear fashionable and soft clothing like women, and pay inordinate amounts of attention to appearance like women. These men are PUA to a T. PUAs are effeminate men. Many cultures have warnings against effeminate men, and not to allow children near them, or to even throw them out of your home. Certainly not to allow them near your daughter or wife or sister. In previous societies, effeminate men would get their asses kicked. In our current society, we have a police state erected for the protection of women and effeminate men, designed to destroy masculinity and good men. And the State has succeeded in that goal, albeit in its success it will destroy itself, as the strength of masculine, good men is the strength of any civilization.

Nah man, I didn’t mean expand on PUA literature. I meant the personality and social acumen of the individual attracted to PUA material. You briefly mentioned that you were somewhat socially awkward and attributed this to why it attracted you.

It really doesn’t have anything to do with autism. I don’t see how you drew that conclusion. Many blue pill guys are just shy and nervous, and bad at talking to women. That’s why they get into the stuff. Much of the PUA material is about building CONFIDENCE, and yes, as you pointed out, being able to talk to people.

When you don’t have a lot of experience interacting with women, or going on dates, it can be hard to think of what to say, or how to steer the conversation. Guys who have this problem are often in their own heads. A guy who has dated and f~~~ed 50 women is better at dealing with women than the virgin who has never kissed a girl. Shyness, and fear of rejection are a big part of this for most guys. Many just haven’t come to realize that getting blown off by a woman is not a big deal. Women can’t pick up on s~~~. Unless you’re so obvious with what you’re doing (i.e repeating someone else’s canned lines and material). Unless they’ve invested their time in understanding PUA concepts, they don’t have a s~~~ clue what you’re doing. Briefly when The Game and Mystery Method were all the rage, even the girls would get into it, so when some unoriginal cuck uses canned material instead of his own creativity, she knows instantly what he’s doing.

Some women knew the tactics and would call guys out on it leaving them flustered and defeated. Because they don’t understand it’s not about jacking someone else’s material, it’s about doing your own magic and being original. When I read the Mystery Method I was like “wtf is this s~~~?!!” It’s entirely too regimented. You spend more time in your own head trying to analyze the entire conversation while thinking, “okay, I said this. So if she says this, I need to say that, then do this.”

Feels like going through the motions that you’re not really in the moment. So I just tossed the book and moved on. After Mystery and Strauss oversaturated the market with their s~~~ for the sake of cash, the PUA’s had to not only change their methods, but their overall approach as well. That’s why you have 4 or 5 different folks teaching different things. In the end it comes down to what the practitioner feels most comfortable with.

I don’t have any issues with some one learning to be more social or charismatic. Dale’s book is a good one has helped many people. If they are doing to get a better job, sell more, get along in life better, with the intent to strengthen their social skills, go for it. I take issue with the fact that the PUA reason to do it is to falsely validate themselves and worse use pussy as the metric for validation. They took something worth while and bastardized it into a douche bag contest.

It was a question not a conclusion. The reason I ask it, is because based on what I read (which granted was only a single thread) was guys trying to engineer a basic conversation. As thought they were completely socially inept and needed a diagram or formula simply to talk to someone.

Again, I don’t know much about PUA literature. Everything I ever happen to come across is just hilarious to me.

This is something that I know about, having been diagnosed as having High functioning Autism three years ago. Autistic people lack the ability to deceive. We tend to be very direct, honest to a fault and find subterfuge difficult.
If you are PUA you have to be able to project a false image of yourself, which an Autistic person would find very difficult to accomplish.
In years gone by, we would have been found leading quiet ordered lives in a Monastery. Going Monk is very easy for us, as it’s really our natural state. Women just introduce instability and unpredictability into our lives, causing us much anxiety which often leads to depression.
People with Autism tend to like computers sciences or mechanics because they have logical ordered minds, able to focus on a single complex task for long periods of time.
The reason they have problems with women, is that they try to use logical reasoning to deal with illogical situations created by those women.
As we all know, women do not commonly use logic or reasoning in their increasingly chaotic lives.
