I reserved last year the day they were available online. I didn’t go wait in line.

My Tesla page says if I buy current production vehicle I tale delivery ionMar-Apr 2018. If I want the 35k base model its Jun-Aug.

Keymaster made reference to seeing one. KM, did you get to ride in it?

Just wondering if others are contemplating the options?

I just need commuter vehicle. Don’t care about environment crap, etc.

I am wondering if all vehicles get the same battery and it is software limited. Like the S. You can upgrade later.

    Peace brothers

That company has only been able to turn a “profit” by receiving tax dollars.

Earlier this year, President Trump cut off Tesla from receiving in tax dollars. This is why Elon Musk has been acting so screwy the last few months. His company is likely over-extended, with him having no way out of the hole he is in.

A lot of the executives whom have been attacking President Trump have done so because the only way their companies have stayed afloat is due to receiving tax money from the Obama Administration. They are afraid of when President Trump is going to cut them off from the taxpayer money.

History favors disruptors and Tesla is no different. He is worth more than Trump and is completely self-made in a lot less time. I’ll go with Elon Musk over Trump.

He has gotten rich off of the tax payer dime.
Now the Tesla and SpaceX are cool but without tax payer money neither would exist.

Basing someone’s wealth on their stock market value is foolish. The stock market is overvalued and everyone knows it.

Wealth is in the form of tangle assets, little or no debt, how much money is spent per product produced. This is how wealth is suppose to be valued.

Tesla spends more money to produce one vehicle compared to Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, and other car companies.

Anyone that looks can see between the lines on what is happening.

Trump and his father relied on subsidies as well. Every business will take advantage of what they can to make a profit. You cannot fault a businessman for that.

Yeah, I forgot about Chevy Volt/Bolt. Should have considered a rock solid profitable car company when making my vehicle purchase.

The last time they got a government bailout I would also consider it receiving tax dollars.

But I digress. I don’t give a s~~~ about political self righteous crap. They are all corrupt.

I am going to be powering using solar panels and battery storage. An electric vehicle is my end game. Tesla has the best chance so far.

Just wondering if others are researching as well.

Probably to soon. First of next year will know more.

    Peace brothers

I tend to agree with this but that’s the world we live in now. Look at the crazy valuations of Amazon and others. It doesn’t make sense to me and I absolutely believe that we are in an overheated market right now. It would behoove Trump to not talk up the stock market so much.

Yes you can if the sole reason a company is afloat is by receiving taxpayer money.

There is a difference between a tax break and receiving tax money.

Receiving tax money is corporate welfare. That is government picking the “winners” and “losers”. And that is a form of fascism, the marriage of industry and government. Socialize the losses and privatize the profits.

Amazon and other companies are all inflated values. They are house of cards that are about to collapse.

I believe you do not understand that the status quo is gone. The situation is not going to remain as it has been. Times they are change’in.

Good point. All those bankers and car companies got bailed out by the government.

I agree, but the system has never been fair because we have humans running government. We should program some robots to run our government for us if you really want things to be fair.

The banks and companies did not get “bailed out” only one, they are being continually bailed out. The moment the bailouts stop their organizations collapse.

This is why they are so afraid of President Trump. He will likely cut off their tab.

One thing to consider about owning something like a Tesla. Something will eventually break or go bad. Meaning you will need replacement parts. You might have a difficult time finding parts.

That’s what they said about a lot of things. It always seems that way when something is in it’s infancy. They don’t seem to have that problem in other countries where they are using a lot more electric vehicles. I agree in that it will take time for the US to adopt electric vehicles on a mass scale, but it will happen at some point.

Nikola Tesla could have been the richest man on the planet, but he chose to share his discoveries and inventions. Nothing against the founders of the Tesla company, but I would never use the name Tesla and piggy back off it.

That was my thought as well. Also, what happens if vehicle breaks down?

In process of researching it more. Will be adding more service centers of course. Also, they will have mobile repair service trucks.

Not many parts compared to a combustion engine.

They are already looking to switch out battery packs instead of charging on trips.

An electric coil motor is basic compared to combustion engine.

I am thinking to stay as base model as possible. After market business will boom.

In fact, any brothers that are looking for employment options should consider service area on electric vehicles.

The time when all gasoline vehicles are replaced with electric vehicles is not any time soon. Diesel provides a lot of power for heavy loads

Also, these oil refinery companies (owned by the elite) will never allow electric cars to go ahead and replace all gasoline cars. They will do whatever it takes to suck out every drop of oil in Earth. The best interest of the elite will always come first.
