Because oftentimes we look at the past through rose tinted glasses…We remember only the few good times and think that it was good most of the time…
Try visiting a mall, look at the eyes of the simps carrying the bags of their slave owners. Look at how defeated they are.

They may look good on the outside with fancy clothes and other blings but inside they are trapped and unsatisfied with their life….Perhaps a long time ago yes, but now NO…

This was one reason why I shared my struggles here. The things I wrote here is a time capsule of the turmoil I went through and the small victories that I have achieved in reclaiming my b~~~~ back. It is sad to see some friends go because of misunderstandings but ultimately we make our own decisions and grow from our experiences. A lot of the men use this site as a place of rest and support from the constant barrage of the world. The damage women has done on these good guys is so great that the simple disruption of this site was enough to trigger deep seated trust issues.

I too felt the isolation and the loneliness when the lively activities here were snuffed in an instant. It was however a chance for me to grow myself and validate myself. To put it simply, I have to learn how to move on from the pain and not dwell on it. I cannot rely on my brothers forever. I cannot continually pity myself. I have to heal myself out of respect for the brothers who helped me through my rage and for KM for providing this space of MEN…

In time, I too hope that i can help other brothers who are going through the pain and turmoil of being initially free from the plantation…

I am not yet healed. I too have my struggles, but i have at least learned its alright to be a MAN…Thank you to KM and to my brothers here and there…

Apologies to RealityBites if I went far from the topic. The words just flowed as I was writing. But you are not alone. The words you shared here may not mean anything to you but those words may touch another brother who is going through the same phase or it may touch your future self when you revisit this thread…

    We are MEN.

I stand with feet apart and let my balls hang free...Manginas dont have balls...See how they stand and sit at the whim of their masters...

Forgive yourself for the past mistakes, failure is a part of life we are all human and from failure always comes success that is the only way you can be successful.

This is so important. We all make mistakes – honest mistakes or mistakes due to temporary ignorance or temporary passion – the beauty is we learn. Dwelling in the past with guilt is destructive. Ask for forgiveness and God forgives – forgive yourself.

Extract from the The Four Agreements A Toltec Wisdom Book BY DON MIGUEL RUIZ (available free online)
“Carlos Castaneda, another great teacher… tells us that the purpose of the warrior (the ideal person..) is to transcend social conditioning as we discover our personal power and learn to live with clear intent and impeccability…Impeccability means ‘without sin…A sin is anything that you do which goes against yourself. Everything you feel or believe or say that goes against yourself is a sin. You go against yourself when you judge or blame yourself for anything. Being without sin is exactly the opposite. Being impeccable is not going against yourself. When you are impeccable, you take responsibility for your actions, but you do not judge or blame yourself.”
Brilliant… We also honor our commitments and only make commitments we intend to follow through on…. in Tibet they don’t even have a word for “guilt.” As he says: “There’s no word in Tibetan for ‘guilty.’ The closest thing is ‘intelligent regret that decides to do things differently.’”
