    What about some booze?

Not the healthiest advice, but if your having THAT much trouble sleeping…Take a couple benadryl and have some drinks.

I do not drink my good man. I think I am allergic to it. No I must wait for nature to sweep me into sleepy bliss.

Men are at a time when panning for gold in a urinal has a higher probability of success than finding a faithful and loving woman, it is time to go your own way.....

8 days no sleep and agony…I see no shame in finding some sort of way to medicate yourself through this transition in a less painful way.

If you dont want to, that is up to you. But if thats the case, no one can offer any type of advice to you here. Yes, we can encourage you etc. But in these types of situations your chemistry is off as youve developed a dependency on the meds. Im not frowning upon you, as Ive been there myself. Quite the contrary, Im saying words wont help in this situation, as Ive been there as well.

If you want to go cold turkey, thats up to you. I would prefer a less barbaric way of dealing with a SERIOUS ailment.

    Thats all I can say.

    Good luck.

Yes. I wanted to elaborate on my advice. Im not telling you “go get s~~~ faced bro!”

No. Im telling you that when one is coming off of dependency from a medication, using a less potent medication to taper you off physical dependency is the norm.

This is precisely what they would do if you went to the hospital or rehab. They wouldnt just tell you to lie still in bed until your body is adjusted.

No. They would medicate you with something less potent to get you through the transitional phase.

In what way are you allergic to alcohol? If you are, can you go to a doctor and get something else to help you through this?

Barring that, I dont see how we can help. Listen, I ve come here asking for words when Im depressed. So KNOW Im not coming down on you. But if its a matter of literal WITHDRAWL, no words will help. There is nothing any of us can say. You need medical help in a situation like this. And there’s no shame in that. The doctor had no shame prescribing you those meds, so he should have no shame in presceibing you some to come off of them.

“NATURE” isnt going to naturally SWEEP you “away”. These are designer drugs your coming off of. Its not a “natural” occurrence. Therefore, nature has no cure for you.

You need external help to get through this transitionary phase.

    Im just trying to help.

Not sure if you are close to the southern border but if you are, have a friend pop on down to fort collins to get you some more “love” as that is the only thing you mentioned that has helped you so far.

Either way I wish you a speedy recovery.  It’s got to get better at some point..
