I have been through about 2 hurricanes and a s~~~ ton of blizzards but i have never been through an earthquake (that was anymore then an aftershock from somewhere else).

And how can your construction be so s~~~ty there? isn’t there standards like in the US?

Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.

Nope, its a 3rd world country. No central heating, no double glazed windows in most houses. You’d be chocked if you saw the state of houses here. They are ridiculous. Shacks, and a s~~~hole house will cost you $500,000 upwards.

Wow, what was the hurricanes like?

New Zealand is lies atop major tectonic plate faults. Back in the 1970s a professor in one of my classes was from there and told me about that. I sure as hell would not want to go through a 7.8 quake after the 5.8 quake we had here from the epicenter about a 100 miles away in Pawnee, Oklahoma. It only lasted less than 5 seconds, but I was swaying back and forth in my chair like a pendulum. I am glad you made through safely. Check the Internet on strategies. One expert definitely mentioned to never get under a heavy table or desk since people get crushed under those.

Yeah I’m okay Dashing, thanks for asking. I live in west Auckland, so I didn’t feel anything. I’ve kept the radio on all day though, and glad to hear that you’re alright. Sorry to hear about your tattoo friend.

I’ve been browsing online, and now it says that the supermoon that’s happening tomorrow is set to bring king tides and wild winds of up to 140kmh.

But something that got me is that, about two minutes ago, I was reading an article about the extent of the quake’s damage, and noticed a few messages in the comments section. Most of them were really nice, just commonplace things like, “My heart goes out to the casualties and people who have lost their homes!” but then, out of the blue, somebody named Nicola wrote, “Hilary Barry for president.”

We don’t have a presidency you dumb bitch, we have a parliament. And this is hardly the time and the place to be talking about that! Oh, why am I even shocked.

You know what’s kind of odd? I just went to Google and started to type in “Does New Zealand…” to find out more about our air rescue services. And the first option that popped up was, “Does New Zealand exist?” When you ask this question, a box will appear that says, “New Zealand: The Country That Doesn’t Exist. Just like Xena, New Zealand is just pretend. It’s not real, which is why it commonly doesn’t appear on maps.”

Like a pendulum haha. Last night was the first time ever i felt motion sickness and completely off balance. It’s really quite disorientating. Like being on a boat in a stormy sea. Even when i got downstairs onto the street in my pants lol, the place was still shaking, the road, the street etc, and the dude that came out from next door was like holy s~~~ is the floor moving? I said yeh, i think so!!!! So either the whole place was still rocking or it was our brains fooling us due to the motion sickness etc.

I would never go under a table. Because im upstairs i would run the f~~~ out of there and jump over the balcony onto the neighbours truck below and just bolt it out of there. Thats even if i got out in time.

    Holy s~~~ you’re alive haha.

Awesome that you mentioned the moon, i meant to bring up that subject earlier and forgot. The moon must of played a big part in the earthquakes. Rocking the sea etc. Bastard moon! Lol.

Theres always one idiot on those forums etc.

What i dont like is some peoples cavalier attitude to the quakes here in chch. She’ll be right mentality and don’t worry bro, this building is safe as. Safe? How the f~~~ do you know? I aint taking any chances im outta here!

Yeah that’s a pretty dumb way of looking at it. “She’ll be right”? I wouldn’t call 185 deaths aright, along with the injuries that ranked somewhere between 1500 – 2000. 164 of them serious. I know how people from larger countries tend to be; it may not be a lot when you think of the 450,000 people who died in the Tangshan earthquake, but we’re only a small country and any expense of human life is still tragic.

I’m surprised that Christchurch didn’t turn into a ghost town.

If all our N.Z. brothers are OK after that…more proof that God looks out for MGTOW.

I heard something about tsunami warnings, bad day to go surfing!

In California people go to the beach to surf tsunamis. But, that’s LALA land for you.
