As a California resident, I feel like I must apologize to the nation on behalf of those of us who believe the federal government should be fiscally responsible. I’m sorry that Nancy Pelosi in is back in power and Kamala Harris—with two years of work experience in Congress—is one of the leading presidential candidates for the Democratic party.
California has recently gone “blue.” VERY blue! That’s how a former mayor of the s~~~ty streets of San Francisco, Gavin Newsome, got to be our governor—and he’s hell bent on bankrupting our state with a universal health care program that would be available to both residents and illegal aliens. And Kamala Harris, who claims she wants to cut taxes for middle-class Americans, is proposing to do what President Obama couldn’t do: create a Medicare for all program. Do the math: you can’t possibly lower income taxes for any American if you introduce a trillion dollar universal health care program for over 300,000,000 citizens!
And here’s the icing on the cake: our Hollywood celebrities and tech CEOs will gleefully spend millions of dollars to promote Senator Harris and anyone who will promote Democratic/progressive/liberal ideas to the nation. THEY LOVE INCOME & CORPORATE TAXES! They self-flagellate with their tax whips daily. I really don’t understand why rich people would want 50% to 70% of their income to be spent by irresponsible politicians who can’t balance a budget. They could do more good for the poor with higher wages for their employees and donations to charities.
In California, an illegal alien can send their kids to public schools (education is our biggest expense—even the California lottery only pays for a small fraction of it!), get on the WIC program (free food & healthcare for their children), and hide from ICE officials with the help of politicians like Libby Schaaf (Oakland mayor). Many California politicians will go out of their way to provide “sanctuary cities” for illegal aliens. They seem to delight in thwarting the mission of federal immigration agents. They are aware that illegal immigration is a federal crime, and so is hiring an illegal alien, but they don’t care! California has earned a nickname from many Republicans, conservatives, and libertarians that live here: The People’s Republic of California. We are the state of “the people.” And our well-intentioned government policies will lead to unbridled spending that will surely bankrupt the state and cause massive starvation—just like the People’s Republic of China in the 20th Century. Just look at our homeless population as a sign of things to come.
I find it ironic that my state, which wants to act independently from the authority of Washington D.C., is sending a presidential candidate to that territory. Senator Harris will need a lot of luck, and a lot of donations, if she hopes to beat President Trump—who has kept many of his campaign promises (unlike most politicians) and is presiding over a period of economic prosperity. Can she offer a better deal than the one we already have?

2019-01-28 at 2:17 PM#886819What’s your take on this.
That if she gets through the Democratic primary that Trump would be getting another 4 years in office as she is basically a worse version of Obama picked solely for Identity especially with her announcement video which ignores all Politics and sticks to the usual cliches (freedom democracy etc).
No woman is getting elected president. Even women know that other women are overly emotional.
No i would not state that has the future could easily prove you wrong (even thou i personally would not care for a Woman to be President). This is akin to stating back in 1948 that no Black Man would ever be elected President as we all know their nature and then 60 years later Obama get’s elected President.
Hey Blade, yea the Marxist Ocasio-Cortez and extremists like her in both parties are on the rise
For you i have agree with some general points and disagree on the others this is where i find you full of s~~~ as Social Democrats are not Marxists nor really even Extremists. Their Policies have been in place in many European Nations and have worked aside from Immigration and Feminism and they are not akin to the Soviet Union even if you disagree on the Policies (it is akin to if i tied all somewhat right wingers to Mussolini or Pinochet).
So far, he’s reduced taxes, reduced regulations, appointed conservative judges, and removed the mandate for Obamacare, off the top of my head
Which is typical Conservative party line Policies since Ronald Reagan and nothing new but these Policies are not even all that great, reducing taxes means Socialism for the rich to enable CEO’s (not the Working class) to have more stock buybacks or to increase CEO salary while increasing the deficit while cutting revenue. Reducing Regulations hurts the Climate and the Working class especially with Conservatives doing so (it is not like a Social Democrat who would cut unneeded Regulations but keep or improve on the rest). Appointed a Judge who was fine with spying and committing Pejury alongside his accusations despite Trump of accusing People without evidence of being Rapists.
And Trump did not replace Obamacare with a Single payer Healthcare system like he stated he wanted the Government to cover everyone.
Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.

AnonymousTrump appointed all the same old swamp keepers as had been there before.
Which ones? Come on. Name names.
Bannon, Mnuchin, Cohn, Clayton, Powell, Donovan, basically Goldman Sachs, after he said if Clinton wins Wall Street Bankers would still be running the show as did with Obama.
List of Goldman Sachs Alumni in Donald Trump’s Administration
Bolton #1 biggest joke appointment of Trump’s administration when considering Trump’s stance while campaigning. Trump is just going to be a failed, even more pro-Israel version of Obama. The only reason why he get’s more pushback is because the powers that be want all of the West, except Israel, to move Left/Open Borders.
Same guys who gave us Obama.
People who have even the slightest clue just call it Government Sachs now, clearly you are one void of such clue Faust.
2019-01-28 at 10:01 AM#886784Trump is ripe for the picking as the only promises he has kept are the ones that he made to Israel, which seems to be a pattern with American presidents, but I am sure it is all just a cohencidence.
What an utterly ridiculous statement. So far, he’s reduced taxes, reduced regulations, appointed conservative judges, and removed the mandate for Obamacare, off the top of my head. And plenty of other presidents have said they would the Israeli embassy, then didn’t. You can’t seriously lump Trump in with other presidents.
That fact of the matter the RNC and DNC might decide to screw everyone with the RNC giving Romney the nomination and the DNC giving Hillary the nomination on the grounds they are private organizations, with the people’s wishes be damned. But doing so would likely destroyed what is left of the election system in the U.S.
Although I’m sure the RNC wants to dump Trump, I don’t think they do this without first fabricating a good reason. If Trump gets impeached, or if his ratings absolutely crater, then they have an excuse to run some other folks against him. I also think they want to see how the democrats are looking. If the DNC has weak candidates, they may be able to run someone else without losing the election. I can’t see that being Romney though.
I get the feeling most of the DNC candidates aren’t that serious about running. It’s going to be about getting publicity and name recognition for them. I think they realize that Trump (assuming he’s there to be ran against) will be tough to beat, being that he currently has a good economy and will come off well in debates. They’re going to have a lot of trouble transitioning from playing victim and representing other victims to actually having logical concrete plans, particullary in foreign policy.
Ok. Then do it.
2019-01-28 at 6:21 AM#886764Harris would probably pose more difficulty for Trump in the general election than any of the other Democrat candidates.
I can see her campaign slogan. “Vote Democrat of go to Jail for Bigotry.”

2019-01-28 at 1:57 AM#886743Harris would probably pose more difficulty for Trump in the general election than any of the other Democrat candidates. While many of those have talked about running, a lot of them are either not serious or will get knocked out of the race early, and after they’ve grabbed as much money campaign money as they could. Hopefully, the primary will have many contenders until the end so that they can all suck up as much of the campaign money as possible to deny it to the eventual candidate. If their primary process is as rigged as it was the last time, hopefully, that would also turn off a bunch of people who believe their candidate got screwed again by their party.

I don’t dislike all Democrats, but I do have a problem with those (Cory Booker) who told the world that we should all believe Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s (weak ass) testimony. If that’s the case, then: why didn’t they believe Paula Jones’ sexual misconduct allegation against President Clinton?
He had additional accusers: Leslie Millwee, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broaddrick. Gee whiz, where are the noisy feminists when you need them? All I heard was a bunch of crickets after these women made their statements.
Politics aside, I can’t believe any of these women based on their testimonies. I need more evidence. I never liked President Clinton, and it wouldn’t bother me a bit if he was arrested for a crime, but I couldn’t have a clean conscience about accusing him of sexual assault/rape based on insufficient evidence. I want certain Democrats and celebrities to look at situations like this objectively. If people are so blinded by their own hatred of a politician (President Trump) that they will ignore the due process of law, then we have a serious problem as a society.

Serious: Why are you trying to make this thread about President Trump, when the thread is about Kamala Harris?Trump appointed all the same old swamp keepers as had been there before. Not sure what planet you live on Faust.
Getting into it with you is akin to talking to a Jonestown lifer, tell me, how on earth does a man who condemned the Iraq war appoint Bolton? Or talk about draining the swamp then appointing all the same old Goldman Sachs swamp keepers? And don’t get me started on the linear pattern of U.S. involvement throughout the Mid East on Israel’s behalf despite the last three presidential election winners going to the candidate who was the strongest isolationist. The Swamp is alive and well, actually it seems to grow stronger with each passing day. I thought Trump said “Make America Great Again” I guess it was code for “Make Israel Great Again”, but in all honesty, I knew it all along.
I don’t really care to waste time on the wasted Faust, I won’t be engaging with you much this time around. I will have my say, post my links, and be on my way for the most part, you can kick and scream all you like.
I have kept an eye on this place the last year without talking, and can see that the Overton Window and intellectual bubble has shrunk considerably since several notables left.
2019-01-27 at 7:55 PM#886722Trump will not be impeached, he is and has been doing what his handlers want him do to from day one with his appointments of the same old swamp keepers. 21 Trillion missing from the Pentagon, tens of billions a year to Israel, trillions spent in never ending wars for Israel, and somehow we can’t find 7 billion for a wall? Priorities in D.C. pretty much remain the same going all the way back to the days of Bill Clinton.

2019-01-27 at 7:35 PM#886719he Democratic race will be brutal if not bloody. Trump would do best to stay close to home for a couple years, wait till after the Democrat convention is over, then blitz the Red States, not even set foot on the west coast or the Northeast.
On the contrary, President Trump loves his political rallies and his rallies remind the media whom lie and censorship just how much support he really has.

AnonymousKamala Harris will get less support than Clinton did, which is to say it will take another rig job for her to get a chance to run against Trump. The Left at the ground level has kicked the dirt in on the Clinton grave at this point, I doubt she makes another run. Trump is ripe for the picking as the only promises he has kept are the ones that he made to Israel, which seems to be a pattern with American presidents, but I am sure it is all just a cohencidence. As I said two years ago, international moves to the Right will be made on Israel’s behalf, and that is exactly what has happened (UNHRC and UNESCO). The Left is in so much disarray that I am not sure what is going to happen at this point. Rigging primaries has this effect, happened to Paul in 2012 and Sanders in 2016. If you do not pander to AIPAC, you will be conspired against.

It sounds more like the “Wall” is going to be a fence instead.
I was really looking forward to seeing The Great Wall of America. I would have liked to see a Great Wall so mighty and indestructible people would come and marvel at it a thousand years from now. Look at any great country from history and usually the only thing left standing is a few of their walls. That is the only thing that stands the test of time to show they even existed. When America collapses and fades into the history books what will be left? Nothing but our Garbage Dumps.
