US missiles fired at Syria will be shot down, and launch sites targeted, a Russian ambassador warned today.

“If there is a strike by the Americans, then…the missiles will be downed and even the sources from which the missiles were fired,” Zasypkin told Hezbollah’s al-Manar TV, speaking in Arabic. He also said a clash “should be ruled out and therefore we are ready to hold negotiations”.

    Read the story here

In response Trump tweeted: “Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!”

Unless one side or both sides are bluffing, this could get nasty.

Seems to me that China knows that they’re far more dependant on our import market than we are on theirs. They would be cutting off the nose to spite the face if they actually doubled down on a trade war with the U.S. – we make up a large portion of their economy. It makes sense to me to see Xi Jinping making symbolic changes in their policy to appease (or at least appear to appease) Trump.

That is clearly not working. Right/Constituationalist/Nationalists have been censored for sixteen years. When someone came out to support their views (President Trump), this group quickly united behind him.

Clearly not working for who? And why would violence be a more effective strategy?

Depends on effective for whom. Didn’t work so well for the Tutsi; worked out better for the Hutu.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

    Ok. Then do it.

Agreed. This is part of why I think any US civil war will likely remain a propaganda war. The left/globalist do not need to kill the right/constitutionalist, they only need to keep him quite.

That is clearly not working. Right/Constituationalist/Nationalists have been censored for sixteen years. When someone came out to support their views (President Trump), this group quickly united behind him.

In a previous post above, I stated. Do not mistake silence for submission, when silence is more likely a sign of quiet preparation.

China or Russia invading would result in a few hundred nuclear warheads wiping them off the face of the Earth. It would only take one US sub.

Not when they come in with water bottles and sandwiches to a starving population.

That is how I see China coming into the current situation in the Middle East. They will come as peacemakers, not conquerors.

Thank you all for discussing. Even though Americans have guns, my belief is there is more to that to win this war.

I agree. But, the excuse for the action is there. Many gun owners are waiting for the other shoe to drop, whether that shoe is an economic/welfare collapse, or impeachment of the lawfully elected president they elect, or the attempts to disarm them.

This is a war on all fronts – economy, social, military and propaganda. Those who resist must form their networks and not try to fight off the militia as individuals.

The gun owners of the nation have learned to be patient and not think conventionally.

The American people have silently watched as the middle eastern camel herders showed how to fight off the U.S. military and prevent total victory.

Any revolt will be asymmetric, and it will be on the home field of many of the oppressors, unlike the Middle Eastern wars.

There should be spokespersons on TV, people who run logitics and prep food water and ammo, others who look after the children and homesteads, the technicians who work on mobile communications and the internet. Your own army no less.

Over the last thirty years, the gun owners of the U.S. have seen enough false flags and undercover plants to prefer a leaderless response.

In short it cannot be won as individuals. It has to be the masses who believe in liberty willing to take the fight to Washington and fight fire with fire.

It depends how you define victory.

It is likely any revolt will have less of a goal of taking over and more of a goal of bringing the system down, forcing more and more paramilitary resources to be used to keep the system going.

It becomes an unwinnable position fighting a hit and run war in the rural areas, while keeping the welfare whores from burning down the major cities when their checks bounce and there is no food, fuel, and supplies because the rural rebels are cutting off several supply lines.

That is not counting that bringing down the system will bring down the U.S. dollar as a global currency. That means no more paying off dictators to play nice with each other. That means the rest of the world is to busy with their own problems to aid the U.S. paramilitary forces in putting down an internal U.S. rebellion.

    Nothing less will suffice.

Yumbo, it is clear you both set you sights to unrealistic goals. You believe a revolt can only work in a conventional manner and that it will not work because a conventional manner can be easily stopped. You have caught yourself in a circular logical loop.

Once you realize that any such battle will not be conventional, the possible outcomes become very different.

Finally, do not mistake silence for submission, when silence is more likely a sign of quiet preparation.

You are not going to see large protests by the nationalist gun owners, because such protests have been shown not to work.

After the tea party protest fell on deaf ears, with many of those involved in the tea party protests being politically targeted by those in power, these people learned that protests will not work.

That being said, that does not mean such people are doing nothing. If one look at what people are buying, one can see the general mood of various populations of a nation.

People in similar situation do go in the same general direction. But that direction is not always submission. During the Obama years, people in the rural areas all went in the same general direction of becoming prepared for what was likely to come. Such as buying food, firearms, ammunition, etc. These people mostly did not talk to each other. Instead, they all saw which way the political winds were blowing and they prepared for the coming possible events.

These same people likely do not view the Trump presidency so much as a political “win” but as a brief “reprieve” to allow them to further prepare and a possible justification for any future actions they may take.

has Trump just declared war on Russia over Twitter?!

It sure looked that way to me when I read that this morning. British and French jets and American cruise missiles.

Russia said they will destroy the missiles and whatever launched them whether jet or ship. Also to note here, the USS Donald Cook was the same ship that the Russians somehow hit with that yet unknown electronic weapon pod and left her dead in the water.

Also to note, we blocked a Russian sponsored UN investigation into the alleged Syrian gassing. One more thing to note, the “white helmets” that rushed to the scene treating victims were not wearing any protective gear whatsoever.

The Van Riper/Millenium Challenge story has been misreported, misconstrued, and misrepresented for nearly two decades now. It was less of a war game and more of a test & training exercise.

At the highest levels, new C3I systems were being tested. Because those tests required a lot of assets from all branches to be “in theater” together, the exercise presented a rare opportunity for training too. That meant a great many “smaller” training opportunities and similar exercises were piggybacked on the original C3I tests.

For whatever reason, Van Riper didn’t get or didn’t want to get the memo. He decided fighting the war game trumped all the other planned activities and interfered in various way with training activities that had nothing to do with the war game being conducted. He played also just as fast and loose as he later accused the top brass of doing. For example, he launched cruise missiles from platforms which didn’t have that capability. His complaints that the carriers were “refloated” after he “sank” them ignored the fact that those carriers had training missions they also were scheduled to perform.

About the best way I can describe what happened is to ask you to picture a track & field competition. There are all sorts of athletic events scheduled to go on but the people involved in javelin throwing decide their event is the only one that matters. They start throwing javelins all over the place disrupting the 100m dash, the hurdles, pole vaulting, and so forth. Then, when they’re told to stop because they’re disrupting dozens of other planned events, their excuse is that they won the javelin contest. What they failed to understand – or didn’t want to understand – is that javelin throwing is only a small part of the track & field meet.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Exactly the engineered migrant influx is one of the things used to unite those on the right to justify various things taking your own freedoms away.

In response the American people have armed to the teeth.

During this time the corrupt establishment in Congress, of both parties, would rather rig an election to allow the fascists (that is what they are) hardliners of the democrat party take power than help the American people through President Trump’s MAGA plan.

At the same time the democrats become more and more open with their open rebellions. The latest is seizing records of President Trump’s long term attorney.

And the corporate media in their haste and desperation to destroy President Trump and his supporters through censorship and demonization, they have radicalized their progressives puppets to become bloodthirty reavers at the slightest excuse.

The U.S. is on the verge of a civil war, revolution, and war with Mexico all at once.

This current Syrian mess might be a sign the Pentagon has gone rogue as well. President Trump wanted the U.S. to pull out of Syria and suddenly the Pentagon is going all in on the flimsiest of pretexts. President Trump has to go along or he will likely experience a coup, which will start a civil war.

Not to go off topic a little bit, i personally found it strange how Trump did a great job to Re-energize patriotism to hes flock during hes recent rallies, now it all makes sense, energize the sheep before you tell them to rush into the slaughter, i am not going to fear monger members of this Great forum but it’s pretty obvious that Trump will start a war and draft a bunch of people into a meat grinder, i am out of the U.S. AND VERY HAPPY i made that choice.

Every president since bush and even before has engage in militaristic behavior that for the most part did NOT benefit us in anything while in the process we lost a lot of good people, good men that will be forgotten through the waves of time that pass by.

You have black hawk down (bad rep), the Vietnam war, Iraq, Lybia, Afghanistan and Now Syria, it’s all part of the plan a general spoke of and the video went viral on Youtube. the Goal is to end in Iran and start putting a check mate on China and Russia.

Never mind that Trump’s infatuation with heavy-handed military and police power could pave the way for far greater threats to our liberties than a few underfed, unemployed migrants entering the country.

Exactly the engineered migrant influx is one of the things used to unite those on the right to justify various things taking your own freedoms away.

And unites you behind the wall etc distracting your attention and focus away from other things.

I got news for you if I live to be 150 I will not witness a wall being built.

Trump is system man who was sold to you all behind the curtain it’s business as usual.

Stop buying into democracy it isn’t real you don’t live in the land of the free and brave.

What we are dealing with is a run-away government hyped up on its own power, whose policies are dictated more by paranoia than need.

Yes and that is how it works it’s one of the oldest sales tricks in the book.

Create the problem and build up the fear in the prospects mind and then come to the rescue with the solution.

Or as David Icke always says problem, reaction, solution.

The Slippery Slope to a Constitution-Free America [1]
    John W. Whitehead

    April 09, 2018

John W. Whitehead is an attorney and author who has written, debated and practiced widely in the area of constitutional law and human rights. Whitehead’s concern for the persecuted and oppressed led him, in 1982, to establish The Rutherford Institute, a nonprofit civil liberties and human rights organization whose international headquarters are located in Charlottesville, Virginia

Whitehead has filed numerous amicus briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court. He has also been co-counsel in several landmark Supreme Court cases as well. His law reviews have been published in Emory Law Journal, Pepperdine Law Review, Harvard Journal on Legislation, Washington and Lee Law Review, Cumberland Law Review, Tulsa Law Journal and the Temple University Civil Rights Law Review.

    Police State

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
    Benjamin Franklin

The ease with which Americans are prepared to welcome boots on the ground, regional lockdowns, routine invasions of their privacy, and the dismantling of every constitutional right intended to serve as a bulwark against government abuses is beyond unnerving.

I am referring at this particular moment in time to President Trump’s decision to deploy military forces to the border [2] in a supposed bid to protect the country from invading bands of illegal immigrants.

This latest attempt to bamboozle the citizenry into relinquishing even more of their rights is commonly referred to as letting the wolves guard the henhouse.

Never mind that using the U.S. military as a police force constitutes a direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878.

Never mind that America’s police have already been transformed into a standing army. Never mind that the borders have always been porous—a fact that the government and its corporate partners profit from greatly when convenient.

Never mind that Trump’s infatuation with heavy-handed military and police power could pave the way for far greater threats to our liberties than a few underfed, unemployed migrants entering the country.

We are long past the stage where the government—at any level—abides by restrictions on its powers.

What we are dealing with is a run-away government hyped up on its own power, whose policies are dictated more by paranoia than need.

Watching the state of our nation unravel, I can’t help but think of Nazi Field Marshal Hermann Goering’s remarks during the Nuremberg trials.

    As Goering noted:

It is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy.

All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.

It works the same in every country.

The same propaganda and police state tactics that worked for Adolf Hitler 80 years ago continue to be employed with great success in a post-9/11 America.

We keeping returning to the same sticking point, forced to make the same choice over and over again: essential liberty or temporary safety.

Time and again, we keep sacrificing our liberties for phantom promises of safety.

Whatever the threat to so-called security—whether it’s rumored weapons of mass destruction, school shootings, or alleged acts of terrorism—it doesn’t take much for the American people to march in lockstep with the government’s dictates, even if it means submitting to martial law, having their homes searched, and being stripped of one’s constitutional rights at a moment’s notice.

Moreover, it doesn’t really matter whether it’s a Democrat or a Republican at the helm, because the bureaucratic mindset on both sides of the aisle now seems to embody the same philosophy of authoritarian government.

The lesson is this: once a free people allows the government to make inroads into their freedoms or uses those same freedoms as bargaining chips for security, it quickly becomes a slippery slope to outright tyranny.

This is fast becoming a government that has no respect for the freedom or lives of its citizenry.

Yet there are warning signs we cannot afford to ignore.

First off, there is no such thing as a “border” in the eyes of these military patrols. The entire United States of America has become a Constitution-free zone.

According to journalist Todd Miller, the “once thin borderline of the American past” is “an ever-thickening band, now extending 100 miles inland around the United States—along the 2,000-mile southern border, the 4,000-mile northern border and both coasts… This ‘border’ region now covers places where two-thirds of the US population (197.4 million people) live…[3]

The ‘border’ has by now devoured the full states of Maine and Florida and much of Michigan.”

As part of its so-called efforts to keep the nation safe from a host of threats, the U.S. government has declared that ever-expanding border region a Constitution-free zone

    Miller explains:

“In these vast domains, Homeland Security authorities can institute roving patrols with broad, extra-constitutional powers backed by national security, immigration enforcement and drug interdiction mandates. [4]

There, the Border Patrol can set up traffic checkpoints and fly surveillance drones overhead with high-powered cameras and radar that can track your movements. Within twenty-five miles of the international boundary, CBP agents can enter a person’s private property without a warrant.”

    CFZ
    Larger picture : https://westernrifleshooters.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/constitution-free-zones.jpg

To recap: 66% of Americans (2/3 of the U.S. population, 197.4 million people) now live within this 100-mile-deep, Constitution-free zone.

That’s a lot of ground to declare off limits to the Constitution.

The result, as Miller notes, “is a permanent, low-intensity state of exception that makes the expanding borderlands a ripe place to experiment with tearing apart the Constitution, a place where not just undocumented border-crossers, but millions of borderland residents have become the targets of continual surveillance.”

Be warned: government agents continue to roam further afield of the so-called border [5] as part of their so-called crackdown on illegal immigration, drugs and trafficking. Consequently, greater numbers of Americans are being subject to warrantless searches, ID checkpoints, transportation checks, and even surveillance on private property.

Second, this de-facto standing army that has been imposed on the American people is in clear violation of the spirit—if not the letter of the law—of the Posse Comitatus Act, [6] which restricts the government’s ability to use the U.S. military as a police force.

America’s police forces—which look like, dress like, and act like the military—have undeniably become a “standing” or permanent army, one composed of full-time professional soldiers who do not disband, which is exactly what the Founders feared.

With the police increasingly posing as pseudo-military forces—complete with weapons, uniforms, assault vehicles, etc.—a good case could be made for the fact that SWAT team raids, which break down the barrier between public and private property, have done away with this critical safeguard.

Unfortunately, the increasing militarization of the police, the use of sophisticated weaponry against Americans and the government’s increasing tendency to employ military personnel domestically have all but eviscerated historic prohibitions such as the Posse Comitatus Act.

Indeed, there are a growing number of exceptions to which Posse Comitatus does not apply. These exceptions serve to further acclimate the nation to the sight and sounds of military personnel on American soil and the imposition of martial law.

This begs the question: if the borders constitute a Constitution-free zone, who will police those policing our borders and hold them accountable for misconduct and wrongdoing?

We’ve seen what happens to domestic police charged with wrongdoing: they get little more than a slap on the wrist. Just recently, in fact, the U.S. Supreme Court shielded a police officer who shot a woman four times in her driveway as she stood talking to a friend while holding a kitchen knife.

As Justice Sonia Sotomayor acknowledged in her dissent in Kisela v. Hughes, “It tells officers that they can shoot first and think later, and it tells the public that palpably unreasonable conduct will go unpunished.” [7]

Third, there’s the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency, an arm of the Department of Homeland Security made up of more than 60,000 Customs and Border Protection employees, [8] and supplemented by the National Guard and the U.S. military.

A national police force imbued with all the brutality, ineptitude and corruption such a role implies, the DHS—aptly described as a “wasteful, growing, fear-mongering beast” [9] — has been ruthlessly efficient when it comes to establishing what the Founders feared most: a standing army on American soil.

The third largest federal agency behind the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Defense, [10] the DHS—with its 240,000 full-time workers, $40 billion budget and sub-agencies that include the Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, Secret Service, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)—extends its tentacles into every aspect of American life.

In fact, just about every nefarious deed, tactic or thuggish policy advanced by the government today can be traced back to the DHS, its police state mindset, and the billions of dollars it distributes to police agencies in the form of grants [11] to transform them into extensions of the military.

Militarizing police, incentivizing SWAT teams, spying on protesters, stockpiling ammunition, distributing license plate readers to police agencies, contracting to build detention camps, tracking cell-phones with Stingray devices, carrying out military drills and lockdowns in American cities, using the TSA to carry out soft target checkpoints, directing government workers to spy on Americans, conducting widespread spying networks using fusion centers, utilizing drones and other spybots, funding city-wide surveillance cameras, and carrying out Constitution-free border control searches.

Finally, there’s this whole question of martial law.

Technically, a good case can be made that the Constitution-free border regions within the United States are already under martial law carried out by a standing army [12] comprised of militarized police and the U.S. military.

Then again, for all intents and perhaps, the American police state is already governed by martial law, is it not?

Battlefield tactics. Militarized police. Riot and camouflage gear. Armored vehicles. Mass arrests. Pepper spray. Tear gas. Batons. Strip searches. Drones.

Less-than-lethal weapons unleashed with deadly force. Rubber bullets. Water cannons. Concussion grenades. Intimidation tactics. Brute force. Laws conveniently discarded when it suits the government’s purpose.

This is what martial law looks like, when a government disregards constitutional freedoms and imposes its will through military force, only this is martial law without any government body having to declare it. This is martial law packaged as law and order and sold to the public as necessary for keeping the peace.

It doesn’t matter whether the so-called threats to national security posed by terrorists, extremists or immigrant armies ever became a reality. Once the government acquires—and uses—additional powers, it does not voluntarily relinquish them.

    The damage has been done.

For those who can read the writing on the wall, it’s all starting to make sense: the military drills carried out in major American cities, the VIPR inspections at train depots and bus stations, the SWAT team raids on unsuspecting homeowners, the Black Hawk helicopters patrolling American skies, the massive ammunition purchases by various federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Education, the IRS and the Social Security Administration.

Viewed in conjunction with the government’s increasing use of involuntary commitment laws to declare individuals mentally ill and lock them up in psychiatric wards for extended periods of time, the NDAA’s provision allowing the military to arrest and indefinitely detain anyone, including American citizens, only codifies this unraveling of our constitutional framework.

Throw in the profit-driven corporate incentive to jail Americans in private prisons, as well as the criminalizing of such relatively innocent activities as holding Bible studies in one’s home or sharing unpasteurized goat cheese with members of one’s community, and it becomes clear that “we the people” are the real enemies of the state.

    We’re the ones in the government’s cross-hairs.

That wall being built at the border won’t be just for keeping illegal immigrants out—it’s to keep us trapped within the punishing confines of the American police state.

Our freedoms—willingly relinquished in response to endless scare tactics—have been breached, undermined, and eroded time and time again. We’re being conditioned to this life in a police state.

As for this latest maneuver, it’s just another means of poking a hole in the already-tattered fabric of the Constitution.

In other words, it’s a test to see how hard we will fight to hold onto what remains of our freedoms.

If this is a test, we’re failing abysmally.

Face it: we are sliding fast down a slippery slope to a Constitution-free America.

We’ve been heading in this direction for some time now, but this downward trajectory has picked up speed since Donald Trump became president.

This state of near-lockdown has been helped along by government policies and court rulings that have made it easier for the police to shoot unarmed citizens [13], for law enforcement agencies to seize cash and other valuable private property under the guise of asset forfeiture [14], for military weapons and tactics to be deployed on American soil, for government agencies to carry out round-the-clock surveillance, for profit-driven private prisons to lock up greater numbers of Americans.

For homes to be raided and searched under the pretext of national security, for American citizens to be labeled terrorists and stripped of their rights merely on the say-so of a government bureaucrat, and for pre-crime tactics to be adopted nationwide that strip Americans of the right to be assumed innocent until proven guilty and creates a suspect society in which we are all guilty until proven otherwise.

All of these assaults on the constitutional framework of the nation have been sold to the public as necessary for national security.

Time and again, the public has fallen for the ploy hook, line and sinker.

We’re being reeled in, folks, and you know what happens when we get to the end of that line? We’ll be cleaned, gutted and strung up.

Incredibly, no matter how many times Americans are lied to, cheated, swindled, robbed, manipulated, and doublecrossed, they still keep falling for the government’s tired, thinly disguised ploys to amass more power at the expense of the citizenry.

Remember when George W. Bush claimed the country was being invaded by terrorists post-9/11 and insisted the only way to keep America safe was to give the government and its gun-toting agents greater powers to spy, search, detain and arrest? [15]

The terrorist invasion never really happened, but the government kept its newly acquired police powers made possible by the USA Patriot Act.

Remember when Barack Obama claimed the country was being invaded by domestic terrorists and insisted the only way to keep America safe was to give the military the power to strip Americans of their constitutional rights, label them extremists, and detain them indefinitely without trial? [16]

The invasion never really happened, but the government kept its newly acquired detention powers made possible by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Now you have Donald Trump claiming the country is being invaded by immigrants and insisting that the only way to keep America safe is to empower the military to “assist” with border control. [17]

Mind you, Trump is not the first president to deploy military forces to the border.

Nevertheless, you can rest assured that this latest call for boots on the ground (whether those boots belong to the National Guard or the armed forces is mere semantics) to police the American border is yet another Trojan Horse that will inflict all manner of nasty police state surprises on an unsuspecting populace. [18]

As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, [19] the menace of a national police force—a.k.a. a standing army—vested with the power to completely disregard the Constitution, cannot be overstated, nor can its danger be ignored.

    In reply to: Rosenstein

The only positive in this raid is that it is an omission that Mueller, Rosenstein and the rest of the deep state have found nothing on President Trump in the two and a half years they have been searching. They have destroyed attorney-client privilege, which is a major step in the destroying themselves.

You keep moving the goal posts. Originally it was that Russia did nothing, and no one associated with Trump was involved in any way with the Russians. What was found a bunch of people involved with Trump had issues, and a number pleaded guilty. What is seen now, after denials of Russia involved, was that Russia DID try to do things. What things are being reduced to is that TRUMP himself didn’t now at all. So, if you have his entire administration go down in smoke, but Trump knew nothing of any of it, because he was ignorant of what is going on, that is a witchhunt? There are other things besides Trump here. But, if you want to make it about Trump alone, then you have joint a cult of personality, where the status of your leader is all that matters. At that way, you stop going your own way, and are a member of a cult.

In this, this desire to protect Trump so much, the idea is to throw out an investigation of foreign involvement in America politics, which makes America less safe. You are seeking to make America less safe, to protect the reputation of Trump, because you need to have a despotic leader save you, as the ONLY answer. And you are going your own way? Sorry, I don’t see it.

Michael Cohen was stupid for what he did. Even if there is nothing else, it was suspect. As per word of this, Trump says he didn’t even know about the NDA, but there was a spot on it for him to sign it. The whole thing with Stormy, which triggered this, was that Stormy’s side said the NDA is not valid, and she wanted to tell her story about an affair she claimed she had with Trump. That is the big deal. All this because Cohen was an idiot over this.

Has to be the most partisan political action ever taken by the FBI. Clear sign that the FBI needs a deep cleaning out of most of its agents. All the agents on the raid need to be fired, who ever approved needs to be fired.

Or there are legitimate problems with what Cohen did. If anyone else were raided like this, you would support it, particularly if it were Hillary Clinton.

It is interesting that individuals Trump appointed (or were appointed by who Trump appointed), who drove this, are now seen as part of the “most partisan political action taken by the FBI”.

Here is a thought: Trump has a bunch of serious legal issues that makes him very flawed. You can end up wanting him to succeed, but if he has these issues, and they are ignored, you are ignoring issues you wouldn’t tolerate in anyone else. You have sold yourself out to defend someone, for whatever reason.

Only way to have unity around Trump is to join a cult movement, and worship the ground he walks on and think he is a genius.

He keeps his campaign promises that is why he has support.

Be honest here about this. I could go on about other things, but it doesn’t matter how many promises Trump has kept, and one can debate it. The issue is Trump appears to be TRYING to keep the promises and that is all that matters, because you have NO other option if you are a Trump supporter. You are stuck. He could shoot someone in the street, and you would still support him, because he TRIES. It doesn’t matter the results. He is your voice and he tries. Every single thing he fails to deliver on, you will have a neat excuse he provides you, on why it wasn’t done. You have reasons to excuse Mexico not paying for the wall. You have reasons for excusing Obamacare not being repealed, and not replaced. He tries, and that is all that matters. You have NO other choice in the matter. Every single other person on the planet can’t compare to Trump or be an alternative. He is the only one who stands for you, so you stand by him. No matter how impotent and incapable of getting wins, you will still stand by him. Even just giving up hope, and supporting none of the above, isn’t an option either. That is why you have the Deep State and dozens of other things, to rationalize why he can’t do what he says he would do.

Admit it. It doesn’t matter what he does. All that matters is he tries.
