It would not be impossible to find one of the higher-ranking f~~~ers giving the orders, and burn his entire family alive in front of him with gasoline, and post it on Liveleak to inspire copycats.
This is why in the UK, ‘vigilantism’ (direct citizens action), attracts such long jail terms.
They know that once that train starts rolling it won’t stop, and it’s destination has politicians hanging on lamp posts.

There should be spokespersons on TV, people who run logitics and prep food water and ammo, others who look after the children and homesteads, the technicians who work on mobile communications and the internet. Your own army no less.
In short it cannot be won as individuals. It has to be the masses who believe in liberty willing to take the fight to Washington and fight fire with fire.
Nothing less will suffice.

I agree. But, the excuse for the action is there. Many gun owners are waiting for the other shoe to drop, whether that shoe is an economic/welfare collapse, or impeachment of the lawfully elected president they elect, or the attempts to disarm them.

The gun owners of the nation have learned to be patient and not think conventionally.
The American people have silently watched as the middle eastern camel herders showed how to fight off the U.S. military and prevent total victory.
Any revolt will be asymmetric, and it will be on the home field of many of the oppressors, unlike the Middle Eastern wars.

Over the last thirty years, the gun owners of the U.S. have seen enough false flags and undercover plants to prefer a leaderless response.
In short it cannot be won as individuals. It has to be the masses who believe in liberty willing to take the fight to Washington and fight fire with fire.
It depends how you define victory.
It is likely any revolt will have less of a goal of taking over and more of a goal of bringing the system down, forcing more and more paramilitary resources to be used to keep the system going.
It becomes an unwinnable position fighting a hit and run war in the rural areas, while keeping the welfare whores from burning down the major cities when their checks bounce and there is no food, fuel, and supplies because the rural rebels are cutting off several supply lines.
That is not counting that bringing down the system will bring down the U.S. dollar as a global currency. That means no more paying off dictators to play nice with each other. That means the rest of the world is to busy with their own problems to aid the U.S. paramilitary forces in putting down an internal U.S. rebellion.
Nothing less will suffice.
Yumbo, it is clear you both set you sights to unrealistic goals. You believe a revolt can only work in a conventional manner and that it will not work because a conventional manner can be easily stopped. You have caught yourself in a circular logical loop.
Once you realize that any such battle will not be conventional, the possible outcomes become very different.
Finally, do not mistake silence for submission, when silence is more likely a sign of quiet preparation.
You are not going to see large protests by the nationalist gun owners, because such protests have been shown not to work.
After the tea party protest fell on deaf ears, with many of those involved in the tea party protests being politically targeted by those in power, these people learned that protests will not work.
That being said, that does not mean such people are doing nothing. If one look at what people are buying, one can see the general mood of various populations of a nation.
People in similar situation do go in the same general direction. But that direction is not always submission. During the Obama years, people in the rural areas all went in the same general direction of becoming prepared for what was likely to come. Such as buying food, firearms, ammunition, etc. These people mostly did not talk to each other. Instead, they all saw which way the political winds were blowing and they prepared for the coming possible events.
These same people likely do not view the Trump presidency so much as a political “win” but as a brief “reprieve” to allow them to further prepare and a possible justification for any future actions they may take.

I would define victory in a Civil War as surrounding the leftist/Marxist cities, like Seattle and Boston and San Francisco and Mountain View (where Facebook and Google are headquartered), blowing the bridges, cutting off food and water and sewage, introducing cholera, and then slaughtering the survivors. Anyone who won’t surrender, you just burn them up like Dresden, and the ones who do surrender, take out into the woods and kill them after you make them dig their own graves.
Its not a true victory if enough of the enemy survives to cause trouble later. The Romans knew this after the 3rd Punic War with Carthage and acted accordingly. “Cartago delende est”. (Carthage must be destroyed) Kill them, enslave those you don’t kill, burn their cities into ruins, and sow salt in the fields.

More ignorant, ill equipped people have rebelled for less reasons than the current situation, with the current reasons boiling down to survival.
Though, no one is saying the rebellion will win. Any such rebellion will be fighting those that will never admit they are wrong and whom continue to double down on their efforts.
Since the logistics of going house to house to disarm a hundred million people spread out over an area the size of Europe is not possible, even if all the armies on Earth united to do the job, it is likely that once the fighting begins, the entire American population will be seen as the enemies of the foreign globalists controlling the levers of power. As such, any rebellion in the U.S. will likely end with WMDs used to destroy the American population. The question is if it will be domestic forces that used WMDs against the American population, or if a foreign nation will be provoked to use WMDs against the American population.
This is why I do not make long term plans.

If someone were to make the decision to use WMD’s to depopulate the US, they couldn’t involve LOTS of servicemen, nor would they want to cause more contamination than necessary, so they would probably use nuke-originated EMP attack. Probably 2 or 3 nukes only would reduce the number of people in the chain.
You could wipe out 90% of the population that way; ironically, cities (Marxist-leftist strongholds) would be the hardest hit by an EMP attack in terms of survival, after starvation and raiding. Ironically “flyover country” would have a higher ratio of survivors.

You would think that. That would be the first logical assumption. The same assumption I made until I thought about the matter. But, then you realize (like I did) that an EMP would empower any would be rebels in a number of ways. First, firearms are not effected by EMP. What will be effected by EMP would be the smartphone spynet the deep state relies on to spy on the American people.

Agreed. This is part of why I think any US civil war will likely remain a propaganda war. The left/globalist do not need to kill the right/constitutionalist, they only need to keep him quite. They already have the media and education system to do that. They will only use force against an opposition if it becomes a real threat. Even then they will surely spin so it appears they have the moral high ground. All they really need to do is stick with the game plan.
On the other side, I can’t see the right gaining any ground through violence. It will never win the minds of the people that way.
If an all out civil war does break out, it will be an absolute disaster for all. I would bet the military would fracture a part and unable to take a side. Military would fight, for sure, but on both sides. Infrastructure would collapse, leaving many to die through lack of resources. And of course, the rest of world will not stand by and do nothing. There are not that many people like you, and I’m doubtful that you and others would be looking to fight off Chinese a hundred miles away when there left/globalist forces miles away from you. And really, they wouldn’t be hear to help you, they’d be here for the left who are used to getting handouts. They trust government/authority and probably wouldn’t consider that the ‘aid’ isn’t going to go away and everything is hunky dory again. These are the same people that assume illegal aliens come with nothing but good will.
