You're weak for attacking a strong, independent woman!

I’ve been reading the news about that stupid author having a hissy fit at Ivanka Trump on an airplane recently. I’m sure most of us have heard of it.

Here’s what I find weird about the comment sections and articles as and whole…

They tell the author he’s a horrible person for DARING to go after a woman, and that it makes him “weak.” While I would agree the guy is an idiot and I don’t agree with him in the slightest, the same people white knighting for Ivanka are the same ones that say she’s such a “strong and independent woman.” I even saw one comment state, “why didn’t her husband defend her? Why did he just stand there and let her take it?!” (Comment from a “conservative” woman) and a guy saying “he’s lucky she’s such a lady, she has every right to slap him across the face!”

So either she is a weak woman and he’s going after someone weaker than her, or she’s strong and can handle herself.

Pick one, traditionalists.

That is the issue. There was no problem until this individual decided to be rude towards Ivanka Trump and her children.

If it has been a woman that started verbally attacking a man without reason, I would feel the same way.

This isn’t an issue about gender. This isn’t about a “strong, independent woman”. This is about a jackass, whose presidential pick did not win, and he took it out on a family member of the President elect, which means he is a special kind of stupid. He has to be complete idiot to decide to do unprovoked insults against the family members of someone who is going to become the most powerful person on Earth in less than a month.

Don’t get me wrong here. I totally agree with you guys and he deserves whatever crap comes his way. *I* don’t see it as a gendered issue. I’m just surprised how many people actually do. For that idiot author to go after ANYONE like them is a big mistake. My issue is where people think that Ivanka is some poor weak woman that needs defense, but also is a strong woman who can take care of herself.

Her strength was the response to those f~~s . Nothing said from her . She not only showed respect for her kids but also the kid with the f~~s .She could of responded without thinking witch would of resulted in her been the wrong doer witch the media would of twisted . She did well and didn’t give a f~~~ which shows she is not into all this new age feminist i am a victim bulls~~~ . She acted like a woman . Imagine if that was hitlary or obamas manly beast .They would of played that situation for all it’s worth . As for the f~~~~~ behaving that way in front of kids including his own i wish security would of ducked out of site with him and give him a hitler back hand and a boot in his arse …Well maybe not the boot in his arse because he has probably enjoyed that prior. Because women do not want equality. They want special treatment. ‘Equality’ only when it suits them, but if does not, to hell with it. Sometimes they pretend to be weak and sometimes strong, depending on the situation.

And they still want men to think they’re lucky if any woman pays attention to them.
