You're An Asshole

For a portion of my life I would always try to be a nice guy and most of the time, I was walked on. Then, when I decided that I wasn’t going to take anymore s~~~, many people, mostly women, called me an asshole. So, if you’re a nice guy, you get s~~~ on, but if you don’t take any s~~~, you’re an asshole? Is there some middle ground I’ve been unable to find? Anyone else here experience this?

I can see it happening to other guys. The really nice ones get walked on. I guess ya’ gotta’ be not so nice to get any respect with people these days. I know you can’t be nice to women or they will definitely take advantage of you.

I chose to be invisible, avoiding interaction with human as much as possible. After all, most of those interactions are meaningless anyway. A few close friends, my family, and two kids are all I needed.
