Man you gotta give Breaking Bad another shot. Season 4 is possibly the best season of television ever made. I will admit it takes awhile to get into but you have stick with it.

What makes the show appealing is that you, the viewer, are in on this wild ride with Walter White as he takes back control of his life over his bitchy wife, crappy job and those that wronged him. It’s fun to watch him keep it all together all the while keeping his drug empire a secret.

Walter White wakes up in the end and really is the definition of MGTOW.

Oops. Forgot Breaking Bad. That was a very good show too.

I can’t believe I met another Aqua Teen Hunger Force fan

It seems few people get the show, I think it takes a special kind of person to appreciate the subtle and weird humor seen throughout. No one else I know has ever taken an interest in it.

    Audiobooks. Youtube here and there.

TV is poison to MY mind. The fast switching camera angles, the music, lighting – overtime I feel dazed and my mind can’t comprehend the reality completely.

Sans TV for 10 years now. I did watch Mad Men online until the season ended in spring 2015.

On a side note – all the personal growth/gurus/self-improvement/mindfulness people I have followed and listened to have echoed a similar sentiment about TV and movies.

I apologize for deflecting the original intent of the thread. Please ignore it, for the most part.

Be mindful of the changes in your own psyche when watching TV.

    Continue discussion 🙂

The last one is particularly amusing as it relies a bit on geek culture.

Not sure if this counts, but I used to watch “Myth Busters”, and it had some cool stuff going on.

Gotta wonder who would not love Deadwood and make it first

Seems the writers/producers are definitely Cormac McCarthy fans. For anyone who loves Deadwood if you have not already, treat yourself to McCarthy’s BLOOD MERIDIAN it’s a modern day Brothers Karamazov.

“Blood Meridian” looks good. I’m going to check that one out.
