Anonymous0Hi Gents,
I want to ask you something, I guess it will be not asked before by one of your guys.
What is or what are your favorite movies ?
Typically I am interested in Science Fiction movies but there is one of an other category which has become to one of my absolute favorites since I saw it for the first time.
It is from 1990 and called “A Shock to the System” with the leading actor Michael Caine. He plays a middle aged executive who loses his promotion to a younger man. But he did find his own way to get over it, starting to get rid of his annoying wife, using his female secretery for fun and witness and blasting “The American Dream” with just one match.
After all he climbed the corporate ladder up to the top.Maybe you know this movie. If not, try to take a look at it. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the full movie in the web, only some short scenes and the trailer. Well, the movie is now nearly 25 years old so don’t be suprised because of some office behavioral which is nowadays hardly practicable.
The story and the screenplay is excellent in my opinion.Abracadabra, shallica zam, bye bye, baby: boom!”
CHEERS!!!
Hollowmile have you tried looking for a torrent version? It’s got to exist.

Anonymous0No I did not, I got it on DVD
@Gone Surfing
Thanks, Bud. Your Trailer lead me to the whole movie on You Tube
Here it is: (Scroll back if it starts not from the beginning)
My current favorite is America: Imagine The World Without Her.
There are too many runners up to list. Here’s a start in no particular order.
Galaxy Quest
A Christmas Story
The Godfather Trilogy (I like the first the best.)
Lone Star
L.A. Confidential (The 1997 version, I haven’t seen the remake.)
In Harm’s Way
Samurai movies by Kurosawa starring Mifune.
Samurai movies with Zatoichi in them.Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
American Beauty is my number one.
After that there are films like:
Seven
Moon
Donnie Darko
No Country For Old Men
Inglourious Basterds
Django Unchained
The Goonies
The Green Mile
Shawshank Redemption
Cypher
The Prestige and many more…
I have wayyyy too many favorite movies lol 😛
Lets see…
Re-Animator, The Thing, Cube…Got a better idea 😛
My IMDB Ratings: http://www.imdb.com/user/ur22010364/ratings?start=1&view=detail&sort=your_ratings:desc&defaults=1&my_ratings=restrict&defaults=1&my_ratings=restrict&scb=0.6976143934298307
Bugged out a bit some time ago, used to have 3000 ratings then they all just disappeared… so… i’ve only got about a 1000 now 🙁
Should be some good finds tho 🙂My Goal: To Leave Society.
Hard to list a winner really, but here is a few:
Moon (2009)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1182345/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
One of the most brilliant, hard hitting, hard sci-fi movies.
Fight Club (1999)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0137523/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
I feel this needs no introduction. A novel and movie ahead of its time, and for me one of the ultimate MGTOW movies
Falling Down (1993)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106856/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
A underrated, simple and yet elegant flick about the effects of society on a man, and what happens if said man has had enough.
Law Abiding Citizen (2009)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1197624/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Another great movie about a man that has suffered injustice and decides to use his cunning to take revenge on those that wronged him.
The Matrix Trilogy (1999-2003)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0133093/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Yes, i am one of those apparent freaks that enjoyed and loves all three movies. Needs to introduction either.
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111161/?ref_=nv_sr_1
A rare one, and a good one. One which people describe as a male tear-jerker, and one can not be suprised to see why. A beatifull timeless story about values that have been lost in most of todays men: Friendship and loyatly above all.
Mr. Nobody (2009)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0485947/?ref_=nv_sr_1
How do i even begin to explain this? It is something that you simply have to watch and experience for yourself, as words cannot do this justice.
I served the English king (2006)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0284363/?ref_=nv_sr_1
A Czech film, but a damn good one. If you can find it with subtitles, i do reccomend it. It is a great story about a little cunning man and his life and exploits during the early to late 20th century.
Divided we fall (2000)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0234288/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
As with the previous example: foreign language Czech film, but if you take the time of day to hunt down a subbed version, it might prove to be one of the best movies you will ever see.
The right man at the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.
My favorite movie is probably Yojimbo
then comes Dune
Avatar (the blue people, not the airbender)
Aliens
old Robo Cop
terminator
Star Wars
Seven Samurai
The Last Samurai
2001 A Space Odyssey.
Serenity without a doubt.
Then either Angels & Demons or Da Vinci Code. Both books were amazing and I was happy with how true the movies kept to the books."If you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds' worth of distance run,"
Ok so while I was trying to gather a list of my favorite MGTOW movies, I ran across one of my favorite mgtow tv episodes that I had to post. This show irked me as a boy and even more so as a man. Star Trek “Amok time” doesn’t have a lot of mgtow elements but it does show a world run by and manipulated by women. Gene Rodenberry is genius in the way he used this sci-fi tv series to display his views of the social and political atmosphere of his time. A woman may be an emotionally-led creature but look how calculating and logical she can be when it comes to really getting her way. The pon-farr describes our extreme obsession and maniacal need for pussy and what we will do to get it. Poor Spock will die in a week if he doesn’t get some. That is the belief that so many young men have. The battle between Kirk and Spock is not unlike the battle for women between alpha males both figuratively and literally. The mangina in the wings who is waiting to get the girl is silent through out the whole ordeal. Spock’s advice to him in the aftermath of the battle is priceless and is a lesson for every man who has ever pursued a woman. The mgtow element comes at the end when McCoy uses trickery to counteract the f~~~ery. The show can be watched in its entirety on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ppnw8u09j-k
Best movie I’ve ever seen:
Koukaku Kidoutai (Ghost in the Shell)
There are too many for me to mention them all. Among them, though, are gems such as:
2001: a space odyssey (my all-time favourite),
Dirty Harry,
The Maltese Falcon (which I’m watching on DVD right now),
The Searchers, and
Lawrence of Arabia.
Thank goodness for Turner Classic Movies as it was through that channel that I discovered many terrific flicks. I could easily bankrupt myself buying DVDs of flicks that I’d like to add to my collection.
I have always liked the movie ‘Joe vs the volcano’. Not really sure why.
The Butterfly Effect: it ends well only when he realize he have to avoid the female 🙂
“They Live” with Roddy Piper. Those shades were just as impacting as a red pill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVgl1HOxpj8
They live is wonderful too.
American Sniper – #1 in box office today
From Here to Eternity – Burt Lancaster
The Crimson Pirate – Burt Lancaster
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
RoyDal:
Two movies featuring Burt Lancaster…. definitely a sign of good taste! Personally, my favourite Lancaster movies are Run Silent, Run Deep, Seven Days in May, and Local Hero.
My favourite movie of all time is The Empire Strikes Back.
