I was reminded of a video by Psy I saw where a guy goes and is a wage slave, but he had his smiling wife and kids waving him off, so it was worth it. Yes, someone is happy so you go through hell. That is bull.

Now, let me focus on the “fun” part of this. If the fun is harmful, don’t do it, even when young. There is some stupid comment about how you do dangerous stuff when young, because you are young, to get it “out of your system”. Well, period, don’t do it is my take. I don’t care the age. As for the rest, that is bull.

I recently heard some old bald guy say “enjoy the 20-25 thing” because it goes by like that.

The guy looked tired and bloated and was at a bar sitting beside me and someone else.

I wanted to ask “what happens at 26” just to provoke him but I didn’t.

I will keep on doing whatever I want, at any age. Be that making music, playing video games, going out on weekends, drinking, watching movies, buying things for myself, etc.

I used to be critical of my dad for buying so many car related things but I backed off and realized it was just a hobby and he deserves it after working nearly 35 years.

I get the funny looks when I say to people I am going for a long weekend away by myself. It is like I am some sort of leper for the fact that I can go somewhere and be happy with my own company

This is why kids in school that are getting crapped on by the popular crowd, usually made up of blue pill pseudo-alphas and their c~~~y girlfriends, need to not sweat the small stuff. These numb nuts get their few years of glory, graduate and usually knock up the girlfriend, she puts on weight, and they live miserable lives.

The whole enjoy being young thing makes sense and it doesn’t at the same time.

Sure, being young is good. There’s barely any pain, you look your best, and you have good flexibility BUT that doesn’t mean you can’t keep good health past your youth (20’s) or (30’s) depending on who considers 30’s young.

You CAN DEFINETLEY enjoy your life at any age. So, mostly, the enjoy being young thing is bulls~~~. An older person can do anything a younger person can do provided they are in good health. Hell, some older people are in BETTER health than younger people. You might not be able to run as fast and you might look a bit different but that doesn’t really have any bearing on much.

“Youth” is more a subjective term. There are plenty of 40+ year olds who still act like teenagers and still enjoy life. Most of them are single, don’t have a family or kids to feed, and can f~~~ whoever they want, etc. That’s the key to staying young. Freedom.

Being 30 or 40 is barley the death sentence modern media makes it out to be.

Don’t let yourself be brainwashed by a youth-centric culture.
