    What is everyone’s favorite drinks?

Personally I’ve started drinking White Russians a lot. Vodka, kahlua and milk. I got bought one randomly by a dude i met while travelling through Helsinki and I can’t get enough of them.

Non alcoholically its usually Fresh Orange juice or still water, after a lifetime of Fizzy drinks i’ve almost cut them out completely and will now only have on occasion. If you can get actual freshly squeezed orange juice, which is hard in the UK compared with much or Europe in my experiance, i’ve found there is little else that compares in terms of taste.

Alcoholic: rum ‘n coke, red- and white wine.
    Non-alcoholic: tea, water, multi-fruit juice and iced-tea.

I stopped drinking coffee (even decaf) and soda since I have to cut back on sugars (I know, there’s probably tons of it in the juice, but I don’t drink it that often).

White Russians a lot. Vodka, kahlua and milk.

White Russians are my favorite! But I very rarely drink them. Barely no hard liquor. I’m not a rowdy drunk, I just want to go to sleep.

    • 2 – 3 bottles of Pinot Noir per month.
    • Never beer or soda. (for many years now)
    • Lost of watered down juice – like grapefruit & water or Pomegranate & water.

Frequently joke that I’m hooked up to an espresso machine by intra-veinous.

I read your post and thought “WHO IS THIS GUY”?

I brew my own beer from scratch for for 30 cents per pint. I like wine too but mainly white. NZ Sauv blanc is my favourite. The only red I drink is Beaujolais.

Stay clear of the hard stuff but when I do I like gin. I might have a dirty martini now and again.

Don’t drink much soft drinks or fruit juice. I have about 1 litre of earl grey tea with lemon per day, otherwise sparkling water.

I dabble in the occasional White Russian, but the drink closest to my heart is the smooth red ale, specifically Rickard’s Red.

During the day, coffee; coffee makes EVERYTHING better. I just feel good about everything and everybody and the world when I have my coffee, I love myself and everyone, and my brain just works better (this dependence on coffee isn’t good, so I try to go without it a day or two a week).

Very occasionally, if I’m programming, and I don’t want any more coffee, I’ll have a soda, a cola or a Dr. Pepper. I’ve heard that an engineer is basically an organism whose purpose is to convert caffeine into code, and I can affirm that it’s true.

Red wine, mostly Shiraz. I make my own so about 3.50 a bottle. Branching out to Pinot Noir and Grigio. And of course my own Scotch but lately this is a campfire drink at the lake. Also live on green tea.

I’m not big on liquor, but when I do drink, I mainly drink:

    -Screwdrivers
-Whiskey shots mixed with some kind of soda
    -Vodka shots + Gatorade
    -Mike’s Hard Lemonade, any flavor

Otherwise, I mainly stick to water and occasionally mix it with flavorings such as Crystal Light.

American IPAs of every kind, and especially that seasonal pleasure juice, a wet-hopped IPA!

And because it’s 6:30 in the morning here, and I’ve got an hour and a half left before my boring-ass shift ends, I’m going to regale you with the story of when I discovered this glorious thing called an India Pale Ale.

In 2008 I was working as a wildlife technician for the U.S. Forest Service in the Sonoran Desert. We were conducting fish surveys in small desert creeks way the f~~~ out in the backcountry. But we had a basecamp of sorts, and it was there we had our ice chests full of our favorite beverages for swilling after working long summer days in ungodly heat.

A typical day of fish surveys included me and my grizzled old co-worker driving to the edge of some canyon, loading all of our buckets, clipboards, nets, waders and 80lb electrofishing backpack on our backs and then climbing down into some remote canyon. There are no trails, either. It’s all bushwhacking. But fun as hell!

So we get to spend the day shocking, netting, sexing, measuring and photographing all manner of wonderful little desert fishes. We’d record all of our findings and then move on to another stretch of creek. Rinse and repeat all day. Day after day. Week after week. All summer.

So you can imagine how good an ice cold beer would taste at the end of such days. I wasn’t much of a beer drinker back then, but I found a few brands that were tolerable. But one day my grizzled old co-worker handed me one of his beers — a Long Hammer IPA. The second that hoppy, golden goodness hit my tongue, I was in love. I had found my beer!

I also love white Russians. Peace out.

For some reason I drink gallons and gallons of water. I have nothing else at home. When I’m working I crave a cup of coffee about mid morning, usually grab one from Greggs. If I’m not working I never crave one which I’ve always thought a bit strange. Is this a psychological thing?
Barely touch alcohol as I drive most of the time. First week of May last year was my last drink. Usually only drink lager. Good thing is I don’t need many!

Women are so bad, if they changed the law so I kept the house, I still wouldn't marry one. I'd rather be homeless.
