    Rick is definitely Red Pill .. the hints are many during much of the film and I am convinced that he is solid Mgtow . He might have had some Blue Pill thoughts or tendencies .. in the past, Ilsa, the thorn is definitely out of his life and she really had no actual longer term prospects with Rick .. I sense that .. he will go his own way .. Monk and Ghosting? .. in French Morocco? I doubt it, he’ll be moving with the underground and resistance .. but going his own way with no looking back and good riddance to the master manipulator. After viewing this film, again and again .. the pieces finally fell into place. I believe the writer and script editor of this movie had Rick as Mgtow, probably discussed it .. even though the term didn’t even exist at that time.

    There’s a few MGTOW movies out there.

    Most recent one I have seen is “Solitary Man” with
    Michael Douglas. Give it a watch and let me know which way YOU think he goes at the end…..
