Here’s the dirty little secret about success. You never achieve it. Life is a mountain. You are either going up the mountain or falling down it. Sometimes when the weather is good you can stop and look around. However, one good wind you are falling down that mountain.
Most of these women make it some way up the mountain, the weather is good, and they look around and look down. However, as they look down to laugh at those below them others keep climbing and they don’t see the cold wind blowing to push them back down.

I wish I was successful. No I take that back. I wish I continue to be resilient in the face of failure. Success will spoil me and make me unappreciative.

I learned more from failure than success. I learned that as long as I continue to draw breath, not to give up. There have been many times I wanted to give up, but yet here I am. I get knocked down and I get back up. I am 48 years old, and working on my third career change, class starts on Monday.

What are you studying if you don’t mind me asking?

I am fascinated when people go back to school after 40…probably because I work in an ageist field (technology). Many people say it’s too late to changer careers then.
