I’m not wasting food, Just today I figured out what to do with the turkeys that missed their slaughter date by 6 months, only because I was ill and couldn’t do it.

BLADE FUN FACT . you can live solely on VEGEMITE AND BEER .

I cook a few different dishes and freeze them in those chinese plastic containers .

Easy then so when me or my father are hungry we just grab a meal and nuke it in the microwave .

There is an art to this when it comes to pasta and rice . Always defrost naturally in the fridge and i just under cook the pasta .

Ravioli and tortelini when i make it i put in uncooked then put the sauce in hot in container . Then when you heat it up in the microwave it wont end up mush from over cooking .

Today in the slow cooker i have chopped 5 tomatoes . 2 tins roma tomatoes . Two tins of tamato soup . Two tins chopped tomatoes . Punnet of pini tomatoes . Big bottle of tomato pasta sauce . Around 600ml of water . 4 onions diced . Two big spoons of garlic salt . Around say one big spoon mixed herbs . 4 big spoons of brown sugar .

I leave that now in the slow cooker for f~~~ i dont know say like 6 or so hours . Then i add sliced mushrooms when i turn it off . Take lid off slow cooker .

When cooled down put lid back on pot and leave in the fridge overnight . I like to stretch glad wrap over the pot then i put the lid on .

Then i put some nice thick sausages in the oven and roast them so the skin of the sausages are crispy and chewie type .

Then i add the sauce i made to the sausages in containers then freeze .
