I reread my post again. I cannot fathom how you get the conclusion that I am advocating for move to the woods and wait for the apocalypse.

I will elaborate in case you did not get my message clearly.

I mean if you think the condition is not beneficial for you to keep staying the the area, move to somewhere where it is beneficial to you. It can be a cheaper area, it can be another country, it can also be the woods as long as you made your cost benefit analysis.

However if you cannot afford to move, or the cost is too high, or if you think things will get better and want to hold out for some time, find ways to make your situation better. I seen a video Autolite previously shared that the Canadian utility bills is more expensive then the mortgage.

So to improve your situation find ways, like generating your own electricity with a diesel electric generator. You can do that in your home without going to the woods.
You can build a fireplace to bring down heating bills.
You can use candle lamp for lighting. etc etc to bring your bills down instead of letting your utility company rape your wallet.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO MOVE TO THE WOODS FOR THAT.

Now read your own words and put marriage as the focus and see how it goes.

its very important to have principled moral watchdogs but they seldom if ever become leaders. in todays world Trump at the very least exemplifies strong leadership. nobody becomes that rich without f~~~ing a few people up. Yes, that is why a government should exist. But that is not to my point, because I specifically asked why not should a government exist, but rather, why does it exist, and I put the word does in bold.

Alright, I’ll take the other side of the argument. And many of you won’t like what i’m about to say.

Look at our country.

Look at our world.

Look at the people of our country and the beliefs that those people subscribe to.

Do you really trust these people to make smart decisions in their lives? Do you trust these people not to kill each other over nefarious things? Do you trust these people to procreate when their financially, mentally, and physically able? Do you trust these people to settle their own disputes? Do you trust these people to not go into debt? Do you trust these people to protect their own neighborhoods and turn in criminals, even those who are family members? Do you trust these people period?

Left to their own devices, man will kill itself. So government is in place to ensure that mankind does not do that. Government is here to do the things that people are to ignorant to do. People can’t make smart decisions to take care of themselves, so the government does it for them. People are unable to comprehend the things that should be common sense, but then there’s the rub, Common sense ain’t so common huh?

If you like philosophy, here’s a theory for you to pontificate. Machiavelli once said that people have an inherent need to be governed.

What if one day we woke up and there was no government. Do you trust people to be able to organize and work together? I don’t. If we woke up one day and there was no government, it would be chaos. Rioting, looting, murder, and rape. There would be no order, because when left to their own devices, man will kill itself.

So government is in place to do the things that people are not able to do. Notice i’m not disagreeing you, i’m just coming to the table with a different argument.

And from the ashes a new government will be founded and an age of prosperity will decent for a time, until the government becomes corrupt and rebellion begins anew.

There is no escape from this cycle of life and death. All things will come to an end. Government will become the problem, and after its death the new government will become the solution until it become the problem again.

I would prefer the big government is split into many many small government that if it f~~~s it people over, the people can move to the banner of other government and left the old government to die. That will ensure the government to cleanse itself or die.

We need a certain level of authority, but not an entity with absolute power. That way the small government have enough power to bring order to its people, and its power if kept in check by other small government and its people.

Government is the most evil force in the world.

Government exists to enslave man, and nothing more, to usurp man’s energy and resources for the businesses government protects. The British government enslaved the American colonists through disproportionate taxes and quartering soldiers. After the revolution, in the early days of America government enslaved the Black man. When the North ran out of fiat money, Lincoln attacked the South and enslaved the whites in the south, while maintaining black slaves in the north.

When blacks were freed, government expanded and came up with marriage laws to ensure blacks and whites could not marry. Government exists now to steal man’s resources and enslave man to ensure man cannot rise up out of his poverty-stricken circumstances.

The founders wanted a small central government or certainly weaker than what we see today. During the Civil War, the south was morally wrong over slavery but was Constitutionally correct in putting state powers over federal powers. There is no such thing as a perfect system but what we have has survived and will as long as we hold to our principles.
