Not every older man talking to you and/or being your friend is manipulative. I had totally fine older male friends but you know the people I’m talking about.
You know theyre not your friends.
You know the difference.

Letting older men be the source of my self esteem, and a needing to belong, led me into a lot of sexual assault that I accepted as “normal” and a lot of manipualation. I let people take advantage of my weakness and thrived on the “attention” because I was depressed and insecure. They made me feel “pretty”. They told me I looked and acted “so much older” than I really was, which was a little, tiny 14/15 years old. It led me into being brought along to drug deals, watching men smoke heroin, trying to pressure me into drug abuse, and being left at night to walk home alone many, many times.

You don’t need that.
No one needs that.

Seriously, I’m lucky it didn’t end up much worse for me and it usually ends up much worse for many. My experiences are a serious warning for you all.

I hope you do not fall victim to anyone or anything in life and discover a sense of self to avoid all this.
You deserve better.

You don’t need anyone to make you feel complete or good about yourself.
