Hell no. I refuse to work without pay. That is slavery. Why should I waste 4 hours of my time for no guarantee of a job nor any pay?
Another vote for no from me.
If you’re not being paid, there is no social security (or whatever it’s called where you live) contribution. This means you’re not insured in case of a workplace accident or emergency.
I also agree with the comments about it being a way to gouge 4 hours of your time for free. If the company does this with ten “potential employees” that represents a week’s man hours for one employee – at no cost.
Slippery slope.

Haha nice.
A month ago I would have said yes. I’ve spent more than that on certain projects for the possibility of being considered for a job.
And then I realized that companies don’t give a s~~~ about you and the extra mile you’re willing to go, and that it doesn’t really help you. Not anymore.
Companies can deal with me professionally, or not at all.
