There’s also one that I consider just as bad as Titanic.

That would be the abomination known as….The Notebook.

Too bad they ruined Titanic. If the story had been like 1958’s A Night To Remember, it could’ve have been so much better. Now watching Titanic ’97, you can see it really doesn’t have any substance for the amount of time and money they put into it. Just a bunch of fluff and wasted resources.

I agree With Rennie, that movie could have been done with a much better theme than just princesses salvation from Leonardo DiCaprio’s ultimate part in White Knighting.

Imagine if it started in Ireland showing the details in the faulty steal and weak rivets like it was cursed from it’s start at the shipyard, dudes getting injured during construction, stuff like that, but no, everything was centered on princess, I would have made it a mild horror film, with suspense and intrigue…

I just thought of another movie my mother made me watch and it’s because my sister at the time was just a baby (who was in her room napping), and that was A Little Princess. I was 14 then and my mom thought that I was going to enjoy a movie called A Little Princess. I slept through it and my mother is like “why aren’t you watching the movie? It’s a cute movie.” Nag, nag, nag, NAG!

My XW always wanted to watch some paranormal horror movies with me – those were the worst. I like funny nonsensical horror movies from the 80ies, but not the latest CGI suspense crap which were shot so badly and cheap – it wasn’t even funny. And no, I would never submit to watching Brokeback Mountain, Sex In the City or 50 Shades. I have no beef with real romantic movies though, even the Notebook and s~~~. I guess I’m a really sensitive and romantic guy after all, which has always been used by the females to their advantage.

A couple of weeks ago, I watched Fury with Brad Pitt.

That movie is awesome for being very realistic on what the war might have looked like (blood, mud, fire, sorrow, anger, flesh, dirt, etc), it was on the TV in my country some days ago.

For me, it was my ex girl, who often had that stupid idea to watch movies together instead of having a good time in the bed. Examples: Eat pray love, sex and the city series, twilight series, 50 first dates, a movie full of Abba songs, Bridget Jones,Titanic, and a lot more movies on TV that I don’t remember the title.

It’s not a movie , but the stuff I used to have to watch that I didn’t enjoy was reality TV : Mob wives , Love & Hip Hop ATL , Kardashians especially. F~~~ all that garbage. When I was younger my grandfather and I would just go into the study and watch war movies in surround sound.

Lived with a woman who would work so she would record Oprah and Dr Phil every day and then binge watch it when she was able to. That was painful, it really made me start questioning the intelligence of women for her to believe that s~~~.

Virtually any chick flick is dreadful, the Twilight films all of that s~~~.

The movie “The Best of Me” has this wife who cheats on her husband with her first boyfriend after he is released from jail. It’s glorified and It’s disgusting, all that because she needed a spark in her life.

The Twilight series is where ‘necrophilia meets beastiality’, but Hollywood and the feminists conveniently overlook that underlying truth. Maybe that tagline wouldn’t sell so well. Dress it up in ‘romance’ and it seems all is forgiven. Utter tripe.

A fool and his money are soon parted. Romantic Comedies/Tragedies are a goldmine. First, they are cheap to make. No special effects. No real writing talent. No real acting required. You put it out there and every vagina gives up their cash to watch it. All of them thinking that is what love is. Totally destroys any chance of any real love, but sure does make a great return on investment.

My ex gf forced me to watch : “Sex and the city”, “Bridget Jones”,”Friends”,”Desperate Housewives”,”Bridges of Madison County”, Awful Mark Ruffalo’s chick flics ( I.e “13 going to 30” ), “Miss Sympathy”…you guys get the idea.

"We didn't start the fire. It was always burning. Since the world's been turning" "A world that vilifies men only breeds a generation of men that feel no empathy towards women" “In a woman’s mind , there is really no such thing as a ‘we’. In her eyes, earth allways revolves around her, not the other way around. So thinking that your needs , aspirations or desires are valid enough to be persued, or even that you are entitled achive such goals, is like asking your boss for a pay rise in your very first day at the job.”

Top Gun was disturbing. To be fair, most Tom Cruise movies I saw are the same thing with a different setting. But Top Gun just seemed like it was made for and by closet cases.

And by closet cases, I don’t mean gay men who are not open. I’m thinking of scumbag politicians preachers who scream about gays one minute and are snorting coke off a male prostitute’s ass off the next.

Tom Cruise movies I saw where awful. Rom-Coms are awful and I can’t remember one from another.

I didn’t really like Top Gun either. Wasn’t enough air combat. Nor did I like it’s poorly disguised knock off “Flight of The Intruder”.
