Hey guys. I really need therapy. I’ve been in the mobile phone business for a very, very long time. I’m in my thirties. I work in a mall kiosk with 1 blue pill guy who hits on just about every girl that comes his way, and 5 other girls in a very tiny kiosk. It’s a nightmare, mess, and disaster. One of them joined the Army and constantly talks down to me (and everyone else). Customers even think she’s a bitch. She never asks me politely for anything, it’s always in a bitchy tone. She’s a lesbian, to make matters worse. This chick is rude for no reason. She’ll find any reason to yell at me for something stupid, yet never yells at the other chicks or the other dude (she flirts with him, even though she claims she’s ‘lesbian’.) None the less, this chick isn’t my boss, she’s my co-worker. But she makes it a point to humiliate me in front of bosses by pointing out nitpicky s~~~ that wasn’t done properly (like not closing the lockbox door for cash, even though there’s no cash in them when we open. The lockboxes are tucked quietly in a cabinet, which is in itself always locked anyways.) Even though she treats customers like s~~~, they buy everything from this chick because she makes it a point to show off her sexuality. Literally. Low cut tops, the works. I’ve seen male customers tip her ‘for being beautiful’. No f~~~ing joke. You can’t make this s~~~ up. Now selling phones in a kiosk is already a tough as nails job, but when you’re selling with nothing but attractive women, good luck getting ANYONE to talk to you. Sad thing is, this chick has NO retail experience outside of this job, NO work ethic or discipline, and is mouthy as all f~~~ing get out. No respect for me, what I’ve done in the industry or any of it. To make matters worse, she has narcissistic personality disorder (which is obvious). I reported her to a manager for her tone to me because I was finally done with it. I literally almost walked out because I was done with her bitching to me about stupid s~~~ while she makes easy sales for showing off her body while I’m actually qualifying customer needs, working with customers and trying my ass off to get business lines. To make matters worse our bosses think she is actually WORKING. It drives me nuts. She’s on her phone 90% of the time while I’m outside the kiosk trying to round up every passer by that I can. The good news here is that I can transfer to another store at the end of December. But the question is, how can I survive until then? All these girls clearly dislike me because I’m male and I don’t play into their mind games. When asked if I had a girlfriend I simply tell them I’m not into drama or dating. Ever since I said that to them, they seem to have sensed my MGTOW ways and are all pretty obnoxious talking to me like I’m a half retarded child in an obnoxious motherly tone. It’s terrible. I have a phenomenal work ethic and I’ve set records in sales for other companies I have worked for. I am not a bragger, but I do like respect. Just basic respect. Like “This guy is older than me, has been through s~~~.” That kind of respect. Maybe even the “He’s worked at several places, set records and knows his s~~~.” But nope, I get none of it. I get treated like a retarded child who can’t go to the restroom alone. Sorry, I’m angry. I’ve been dealing with this for the last 2 months I started this job. Please fellas, help me keep my sanity here. It’s awful working there. The simping from upper management to these absolutely no work ethic chicks is enough to make you scream. I’ve seen these girls FACETIMING THEIR BOYFRIENDS while a customer is FLAT OUT talking to them and they tell the customers to F~~~ING WAIT for them to finish their conversations on the phone. YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS UP. Yet these girls are outperforming me because they have f~~~ing t~~~.
Nothing infuriates me more. This job is a joke to them, a college job at best. To me, I LOVE the cellphone business. I love it. I love our CEO, our company, and helping customers delve into the world of technology. These worthless chicks have ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT or work ethic! I’m just f~~~ing sick and over it man.
And the dude I work with? Good luck getting him to agree to anything about how I feel… he’s a total bluepiller. Chasing after EVERYTHING. It’s annoying as f~~~. I just want to work, sell s~~~, clock out and go home in peace. I want coaching to help me improve my technique, but I don’t want to be unfairly compared to girls that are selling their bodies to get a phone sale.
/sigh. Please adivce, help. It would make me feel a world better. x(
