The pensions not worth it – I’m heading to greener pastures. The most miserable way to make a living bar none is to work under the auspices of a mangina and his deciphals. Case and point my own story:
After over a decade of solid and recognizable performance – a complete simp takes over our team and along with him installs a snowflake. The mangina n chief hasn’t the b~~~~ to confront me about a work related issue so I go to him. Like the emotional twit he is the exchange was nothing but a waste of time and loaded with meaninglessness innuendo. Then his subordinate- my manager the snowflake – berates me on top of his s~~~.
Meantime I’m the second highest performer in my team – and had never had a poor review until they came aboard.
F~~~ both of them. Moving on.

I was working for some young manginas.
Their concept of authority was to act like they were my mother.
    I quit.

Although I still have to finish my degree and enter the workforce, I’ve seen a very similar dynamic during some jobs I did, albeit a little different. The mangina in charge takes under his protective wing a poisonous c~~~ and as a consequence the environment becomes unbearable. You’re going to do the right thing, in my opinion. Leave if you can, and let the situation collapse by itself under the weight of nagging and unwarranted hardships. In what country would you go, out of curiosity?

Out of your prime, out of my sight.

Nice. Avoiding the hassle of completely moving out is also a point to consider, if possible. I wish you good luck. 🙂

Someone once told me that leaving a job is like pulling your arm out of a bucket of water. It doesn’t leave a hole. I pointed out that although this observation was true, the level of the water in the bucket goes down once the arm is removed.

It sucks and you cant do much about it. Truth is nobody gives a f~~~ you were there 10+ years and always had good reviews but you already know that. Mangina & entitled princess is a machivelian combo, just like feminazi master & submissive mangina i frequent. Pension will not help you much if you are dead or sick from job related stress.

Move on. No regrets. The biggest mistake I’ve made in my career was to work for a woman. The second biggest was to ignore the early warning signs.

I’ve never regretted leaving a job. Ever. Regardless of the pay. What’s the point in making money if you’re not happy?

Make sure you have another job lined up before you leave.
