    That’s the message from a new article in the holy New York Times, the best paper in the most powerful country in the world.

    One of the main arguments against the idea there is a wage gap between men and women is that it is clear that the difference in salaries is because men work an average 10 more hours a week than women. It is put down to baby pressure furthering the call for public re-education centers for social engineering of people from before they have the power to understand speech.

    Now we have a new and far more powerful argument from the NYT.

    It goes like this: Yes, the wage gap is due to men working more hours but the men are faking it and women are better workers so get done in 35 hours what a man can do in 45 hours.

    A second finding is that women, particularly those with young children, were much more likely to request greater flexibility through more formal means, such as returning from maternity leave with an explicitly reduced schedule. Men who requested a paternity leave seemed to be punished come review time, and so may have felt more need to take time to spend with their families through those unofficial methods.

    The result of this is easy to see: Those specifically requesting a lighter workload, who were disproportionately women, suffered in their performance reviews; those who took a lighter workload more discreetly didn’t suffer. The maxim of “ask forgiveness, not permission” seemed to apply.

    But the fact that the consultants who quietly lightened their workload did just as well in their performance reviews as those who were truly working 80 or more hours a week suggests that in normal times, heavy workloads may be more about signaling devotion to a firm than really being more productive. The person working 80 hours isn’t necessarily serving clients any better than the person working 50.

    The NYT’s liberal audience ate it up cooing and agreeing with every point. Agreeing that men don’t ever work harder than women. Women are just better, I mean more productive, than men and can do it in less time and, here it comes:

    Feminists want equal pay for 35 hours of work and 45 hours of work because giving more for more time favors men over women.

    Just like multitasking became this mythical advantage women had over men, then their ability to have a “feeling” was only present in women and every female dream had to be investigated. Now we will have: “Women are better workers than men”.

    I had a hard time understanding this kind of logic until I remember that women act as a herd. If everyone is working 35 hours we all should and all get paid the same as all the other members of the herd.

    It is men who strive for more.

    It is women who spend it.

    One of the things men have not done successfully is get out in front of feminist cultural war cries like this new one.

    They are announcing it in the NYT’s. It’s not a news paper article, it is a talking point in the war on men.

    I’m getting the message loud and clear. In our feminist future, read Hillary’s time, longer hours will be punished or at least not rewarded.

    Nice, if your MGTOW and reading this and don’t understand that it mean’s to work less and enjoy your life, what more evidence to you need?

    Yeah it really makes you think what kind of s~~~ they will think up next as the nation gets softer and softer. Only problem is men seem beaten down to a level they cannot comprehend and had no influence of resistance. Never had men teach them to be men. Those who do realize look around and see a sinking ship not worth saving.

    Does anyone know if it is legal to establish a business with the established policy of not hiring women?

    @soldier-medic: Women are a legally “protected class” in the workplace. This means your business will be decimated by massa White Knight guvmint the second any random c~~~ goes to the EEOC and claims you would not hire her, promote her or anything else that happens to displease her royal highness.

    HR’s prime directive is to protect businesses from that. This is why you will see so many white males getting axed left and right as there are way fewer potential legal repercussions for the business to worry about. If you’re a straight white male(Read: TARGET), it may be best to pretend that you’re gay in a corporation as that would at least put a ring of protection around you. There is no bigoted intent behind my statement. I am just stating the facts as they are.

    Use the system’s rules against it whenever possible.

    Women are horrible workers, period. end of story. I don’t need to even provide arguments, because i’m sure that every person on this freaking forum knows that!

    As the op said it,

    It is men who strive for more.

    It is women who spend it.

    I couldn’t agree any more!
    Lately, i’ve been working 55 hours a week, and am often doing things on the side to provide some extra income.
    I do this, because i want to get the hell out of this society and start my own in the middle of no where.

    My Goal: To Leave Society.

    What men really need to realize is that we don’t do all this stuff because we HAVE something.  We do it because we DON’T have something – the ability to pop out new clones to keep the population up.

    Women trade in the ability to provide new members to society.  They control the ENTRY POINT to human society — virtually every human first gets indoctrinated by a woman, and is raised to see women as more nurturing and gentle than males.

    They use this monopoly to extract services from society in multiple ways.

    First, obviously, they hold the keys to reproduction, and sell them to the highest male bidder.

    Second, they negotiate special privileged status — first on the lifeboats, always being rescued from danger, “victim” status where they terrorize society with “look, a threat to women!” type stuff.

    Third, they monopolize the “good person” status.  Women are good.  Whatever they do is positive and amazing.  They are PERFECT just the way they are.  Don’t agree with them?  Well, good luck with that.  Moms, wives are going to put pressure on all other males to disavow any recognition of your disagreement.  Children will be taught to fear you.  And in a generation, your disagreement will be wiped out.

    Males need to RECOGNIZE this monopoly.  The silly attitude that women are somehow just crazy, or bitchy, or compensating for inferiority, is willful blindness to the reality that males have a HUGE disadvantage.

    LAYDEEZ as the article says, are more efficiently productive. That’s why when you go to a commission based sector, they’re there in droves and flourishing, for example at any new or used car dealership.

    The wage gap exists because generally women aren’t willing to make the necessary sacrifices or take the necessary risks to earn higher salaries. Women tend to favor safer, stable jobs with low-demand schedules so they can have the time to spend on family life; they leave the high-demand, high-risk, high-reward jobs to men and hope they can rope one into marriage and live off of his earnings.

    Anyone watch shows like “Deadliest Catch” and see any women on the decks of those fishing boats? HELL no. The risk of being washed overboard into an almost certain death in the freezing waters of the Bering Strait is too great for women to handle. Not to mention the risk of injury is probable, the hours are basically 24/7 while not in port, and the payoff is not guaranteed.

    The whole argument that women get paid 77 cents on the dollar compared to men “because PATRIARCHY™!!!” is horrendously stupid. Do you think if ANY major corporation could pay their workforce 33% less due to one simple unchangeable factor, they would ever hire any members of the group that they have to pay 33% more? If you believe that they would, I’ve got some fantastic oceanfront property in Omaha that I believe would be perfect for you and your young wife!

    To put it even more simply, the wage gap exists because brain surgeons get paid more than customer service reps at Verizon. It’s the basic risk-reward trade-off. Every time a neurosurgeon picks up a scalpel he takes the risk of killing or crippling his patient and getting sued into oblivion, while the CSR’s biggest risk is maybe getting yelled at over the phone by a customer with a billing problem.

    In one of Keymaster’s posts I saw him say something to the tune of “It isn’t that women CAN’T, it’s that they DON’T.”

    There is no patriarchy.

    I prefer:  Think Hard, Plan Hard, Work Hard.

    Put those together and you don’t have to work 80 hour weeks.   Women like things to “feel” right.  Men think, reason, plan then execute.  If you do it right, you don’t have to kill yourself working.

    It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning; it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
