    Wordles Thought for the Day:

When a man opens the car door for his wife, it’s either a new car or a new wife.

There’s nothing wrong with opening a car door for a women. Shoving her out while doing 90 kph she might not appreciate…

    it has to be reciprocal.
    it’s not all about HER.
i’ll open a car door to show respect,
she has to EARN that respect.
    earn it by being kind
    understanding
    non judgmental
    soft spoken
    gentle.
    .
i met a few women like that in the past,
they just don’t keep up the charade forever.
    ..temporary pleasures,
..can become life long headaches if your not VERY careful.

It also depends on where she is standing when you open the door Autolite! I have ping pong balled a few people in the past with the car door, dang it sometime hard to keep control of them.

It’s often not the bouncing down the road that worries them, but the sudden stop at the end!

I completely agree Hitman. Being a product of southern culture, I was raised to respect others in public and private until given cause to do otherwise. Added to that, being a member of an Active Duty U.S. Army family, you did not disrespect others without the probability of dire consequences.

Its the fine line you discuss that is often so easy to cross, established cultural norms vs personal values. Them vs her is often difficult to track but will always lead to “Bad Booga”
