When women try to “show off.”  I know, they do this non-stop, but in this case I’m talking about how they’re trying to take credit for being the first “author” and the “creator of superheroes.”

Women are taking off with this.  They’re now saying things like:

“Actually, the first person to ever have their name associated with an original written work was Enheduanna, a Sumerian princess and priestess born in 2285 BC.”

My thought is, so fragging what?  While men were raised to go to war and, like today, take up life-risking work, the women were allowed to write?  It’s taking a lot in me not to add:

“What’s the point of this post?  To prove that there was maybe ONE time in history that women were useful before they became the lazy, self-entitled land whales they are today?”

However, this statement is misleading. It does not say that the first writing was done by a woman, but that the oldest piece of writing that can be traced to a specific author was signed by a woman. There is older evidence of writing, but the authors are forever unknown as they did not have the presence of mind (or the narcissism) to sign their name to their work.

Like many statements of facts, or compilation of evidence, the meaning of what was discovered is skewed to fit the agenda of the voice that speaks it.

I think it bears mentioning, this first evidence of a person signing their name to an original piece of writing was a princess. That writing was taught to her by Royal scholars, and she would have been able to improve her writing skills while not fettered with the need to provide for herself.

That’s kind of what I was thinking.  I mean, what about the men of the Bible when they wrote their books (in their original language, before the more recent translations).  What about Gilgamesh, who preceded Enheduanna by a few hundred years at least?

Also people remembered the woman’s name for the sheer novelty of it.

It’s also highly likely she merely commissioned the piece and didn’t actually write it herself. Because that’s what royalty does.

Did girls invent Orion? Did girls invent Perseus? How about Hercules; did girls invent him?

Men were out working….and DYING

Men were out soldiering….and DYING

Men were out doing all the things the female could not and would not do….and DYING.

Thank you for your “support”.

BTW….how’s that superhero working out for ya?

Philosophy, the female repellent

Somehow, I’m even inclined to believe that one woman may have taken credit from someone else, as that’s what seems to f~~~ing common in the work place today, any way.

I bathe in the tears of single moms.
