French feminist groups concerned violent behavior toward the dolls could repeat itself with real women.

“This establishment … is the latest invention to bring brothels back into the landscape,” Nicolas Bonnet Oulaldj, a left-wing Paris council member who opposes Xdolls, said in a statement.

Xdolls, whose dolls are basically mannequins that don’t move or talk on their own (yet), opened Feb. 1 in Paris’ 14th district. It’s registered as a games center, but those wanting it shut hoped law enforcement would classify it as a brothel because those are illegal in France. The police visited Xdolls, but concluded no laws were being broken.

“This is not a case of prostitution. They are not real women,” Le Parisien newspaper quoted a Paris police officer as saying. “This is not a criminal but moral problem.” The business hasn’t caused any public disorder, the officer added, or drawn complaints from neighbors.

I know, and that’s good because we can claim “equality” on sex dolls/robots.
Actually, outcomes are very different, and that’s why most feminists and even many women without feminist knowledge can see the threat.
Due the sexual asymmetry and the the sexual dynamics sex dolls/robots for men aren’t the male equivalent of sex dolls/robots for women.
Sex dolls/robots for men are the male equivalent of economical independence for women.
Putting it in simpler words: dildos/sex dolls for women are the cherry on the cake, while fleshlights/sex dolls for men are the whole cake that it just only lacks the cherry on the top.
The only way that feminists have, theoretically, to stop such thing would be feminists marching against dildos, saying that women are victims of dildos and men are victims of fleshlights/sex dolls, and they should do it for at least 20 years, more likely 30 years, strongly focusing on such line.
