My divorce was final in March of last year. I was working as the Chief Financial Officer for a company doing 300 million in sales a year. I supervised employees in five locations in two states. Dealt with management, employees, banks, the IRS and seven state tax agencies. My heath suffered from the stress and 80 hour weeks. Several mini-strokes.

So then I said to myself, why the hell are you killing yourself for money you don’t spend anymore? Granted the income would be great to put in the bank, but just to give to my heirs, I don’t think so. Three ungrateful daughters, to hell with them.

I left at the end of June, 90 day notice, and looked for a low-stress job. When you turn 64 on your next birthday, you get about one response per hundred resumes sent out. And those are from people who have small a business and are in a desperate situation. They are years behind on filing taxes, etc., wanting you to fix problems that can’t be fixed without major dollars, which they don’t have. I’m a certified public accountant with 40 years experience, I know that s~~~ ain’t for me, I don’t want that kind of problem, and his check will likely bounce. Just give me honest work at honest pay.

In December I got a job doing bookkeeping/tax preparation with a small local CPA firm. About a third of my former pay, but the hours are flexible and I can wear jeans and sandals to work. Take Friday, or Monday, or Wednesday off if I want, they say just get the work done by your due dates, we don’t care when you do it.

They joined three sole proprietor firms into one last June. Three partner CPA’s, three staff CPA’s (me and two women) and four accounting clerk types. One woman CPA hired in September. The other woman CPA hired a month after me, in January.

Last week, they fired the woman CPA hired in January. Today they fired the the first woman they hired in September. Nothing much was said on the first, just that she was fired. When that happened today the managing partner came in my office and after shutting the door he asked “I guess you are wondering what the hell is going on”. I replied yes, I want to know where I stand with the other two CPA staff being fired, I need to have a job.

He said they just weren’t producing. So I asked, “How does that apply to me, am I getting the job done”. He replied that you come in early in the morning, you put your head down and crank out the work, and if needed you stay late. You are making me money, those two women were costing me money. I don’t have deep pockets, this ain’t no socialist business.

He worked with both women trying to help them get up to speed. They just didn’t have the work ethic, and, of course, both were bitches in varying degrees. The most recent woman hire was in the office next to me. I heard her on the phone with obviously personal calls for one to two hours a day. She apparently charged this on her time sheet. If I decide to f~~~ off for an hour surfing the web I don’t expect my employer to pay for that and don’t turn it in. Women don’t belong in a business office.

I am underpaid for the work that I do and sometimes I think about looking for work in “the city” and making that big salary. There is a price to pay for that, however. Thanks for the reminder. Management positions aren’t all they are cut out to be. Every boss I’ve had where I work has been stressed out and/or miserable.

I came to the same conclusion – there’s no point in being the richest corpse in the graveyard. I minimise my hours and keep my income below the taxable threshold (why pay tax to support more welfare parasites?).

Granted the income would be great to put in the bank, but just to give to my heirs, I don’t think so. Three ungrateful daughters, to hell with them.

Right! A son might be different, but even then only if he’s solid Red Pill.

When you are employed, you are selling your time and your skill. Why would a buyer tolerate paying but never receiving the goods? You wouldn’t pay a bricklayer who didn’t turn up.

It’s always about entitlement. If you say anything, you are ‘oppressing’ them (and in line for a spiteful false allegation).

    Three ungrateful daughters

One up on me. But you seem to be managing it perfectly.

    Well played.

Great thread, TTW. I gotta deal with a lot of left-wing women, but at least they’re fairly nice because they need something. I do my job professionally, but don’t give a s~~~ personally because, if I did, I’d get as stressed as my knotted-up coworkers. I reasonably enjoy my days and am gradually marking time until eventual retirement.

We just don't realize life's most significant events while they're happening. Back then, I thought, "Well, there'll be other days". I didn't realize that that was the only day. - "Moonlight" Graham

I know of a Woman that decided to leave her present occupation, and go back to school to become a CPA. She did this on her old man’s dime as he continued to work at his ho-hum job plus overtime to pay the bills. She did become a CPA, and then she went to work for this company and that for company. Finally, she ended up working for herself which men that she was keeping books for a small business. She didn’t want anything to do with tax season as those hours were just too long.LOL LOL LOL

The last thing that I knew was that her husband continued to work long hours at her ho-hum job, and she was sitting around the house doing NOTHING. it doesn’t surprise me as her sisters are all well educated ‘professional” woman that CHOOSE to be parasitical wives.

I guess that it’s just a family tradition!! TYPICAL

Could you imagine if that was even an option as a man? That you could just look at your wife and say “you know, I’ve decided I’m going to stay home and take care of the house. Even though, when you think about it, as the CEO of the house I’ll be grossly underpaid. I’m doing you the favor of taking on ‘the toughest job in the world’ for you honey.”

Um, yeah right. Personally I couldn’t do it. I get bored at home after a few days if I don’t have something planned to do. But I’m trying to put myself in that position in my head and it just doesn’t add up. Must be nice.

Anytime I’ve ever walked into a restaurant, bar or any type of store, I see the females paying more attention to their phones than to their customers or jobs. When women complain about the phantom wage gap they need to be reminded that they are lucky that they are getting only 23 percent less than a male. They should be getting at least 50 percent less than a male since they cannot even do half the work a man can do.

Feminism isn't about equality with men, it's about leverage over men.

The stories I could tell, but can’t without doxxing myself. Here’s the tl;dr version of a recent one:

My second biggest sort-of competitor has been a hair away from chapter 7 for years. Meanwhile I’m doing OK. He employed women. I don’t. Do the math.

He finally went belly up, and his company had some IP I wanted, so I managed to buy him out cheap. He also had a few guys I wanted to keep on, but there was no way I was taking on any of his dead weight lest they drag me down like they did him. Well, a bunch of his dead weight actually sued me, filed grievances, the works, for not hiring them as well. They never got anywhere, but it’s been hectic AF dealing with it. I know their lawyers were working on spec, but mine needed payment up front.

See if you can guess their sex.

I worked in a hospital that feminized during my 30 year tenure. As soon as the s~~~ hit my door I was out and retired at 55.

I’ve gone my own way and retired. My mental health has never been better. Sometimes I wish I would get something important done but 30 years as a med school professor is enough contribution to society for me.

My time is my own and I have no woman to take my retirement or tell me what to do.

I love meditating, looking at the lake I live on.

Once women come into work it’s time to get the resume dusted off.
