Growing up I remember being 14 and not having a real job which meant little money and none of the bitches gave me the time of day. When I got a job, it wasn’t good enough because I didn’t have my own car. So I got a car and it wasn’t enough because I had a burger flipping job and the car limited my disposable income. Then it was because I couldn’t get into bars, then because I didn’t have my own place. When I finally got all that, the only ones who were interested were single moms or land whales. I never had enough. The one common theme was that I didn’t have enough status or money.
