I saw a woman scream, cry and beg to get some help and to be seen by her probation officer. Here I am at an office that is made to help people and there is no help for this woman. Every once in a while I wish I could take Carnage around with with me. I got up, asked the Security guard if there were vending machines in the building, and went downstairs to get her something to eat and drink. Drink machine is broken. So I get her something to eat. I told her the vending machine is broken, and I got to much stuff. She carefully took it. It stopped her from crying.
I have not wiped tears away from an old woman’s face in a long time.
I spoke with her a bit. She had all the intellect of an 8 year old. And of course, like any father, I cheered her up and got her to think about something else. Its funny. While I was speaking to her, 2 women came down from the DV unit.
She then proceeded to tell them that she was scared of her old boyfriend that was down at the same homeless shelter. What I saw and heard while sitting just across the room was sickening. They quickly shushed her. THey KNEW FULL WELL by now I’m wired like Data from star trek and those glasses I wear are not just sunglasses by now. In fact the Old black lady that was so Giddy to see me, no longer bothers after the Guard let her know that those glasses seem to be “google GLasses” . I don’t think they ever suspect the hat however.
This obviously mentally handicapped woman tells 4 different people she is actually scared of a man. She must be in her 60’s. She is homeless. Its cold. It’s starting to rain outside. And all they are trying to do is shoo her out the door. And by Shoo I mean PUSH her and her little walker out the door.
She kept telling them she was scared the whole time. So she walks my way by my table. I have my laptop open and just clicked on the new thread button. She was Begging not to go outside. Tears rolling down her eyes. And they would not spend a Moment comforting her. I could not ignore it any longer. This f~~~ing PLACE is HELL.
I can’t believe these women are so goddamn uncaring, f~~~ing Soulless creatures. I know she did not have any money. After I saw that woman try to nudge her by her arm, OH that was it. F~~~ THIS S~~~. I got up from my chair and spoke with her again, and asked her if she had any place to go. She said of course they would not help her.
All I could do was tell her a story about the geese and the ducks. I asked her if I could walk her to the door, and if I did, would she feel less scared, she obliged. When the Probation bitch tried to touch her, my glance was enough to make that bitch step 2 feet back. Funny how fast you can change character. I slowly walked her as far as I could go. The security guard opened up the Handicap door and let her out. I knew I could not walk any further, and the Woman security guard opened both doors for her and kept talking about the Ducks and the Geese.
I told her to go buy something coffee and go and stay warm. Someone would be there to help her. I lied… I lied because I knew if I did not, what else was she going to do. I really do think she has all the mental capacity of a 8 year old. And yet, these people just wanted her out the door so she would not say anything more about her plight.
I sat back down, and just waited till I was called. I sat there just wondering with all the money, with all the organizations and places out there and services just for women, how could this one slip through the cracks. Here we have a legitimate case of actual need. And here these women are all there Pushing her out the door. And I do mean push.
This is where all our money goes. To support FAT f~~~ing C~~~S so they have some USELESS OFFICE JOB. I did find out they did bring in a new person into the office. A Man. Gee, guess like that last fiasco of not having a male probation officer on staff to do PEE tests bit them in the ass.
It must’ve been the quickest meeting I have ever had. In out. THen she wanted to scold me and say “I DEMAND the PEE TEST” I pulled out the original order that says I AM REQUIRED TO DO IT AS STATED HERE. She closed the door and walked away as soon as another staff member came in to the lobby. Women, always using the same f~~~ing tactic.
I know see why they did not want to close the external office. They must have not liked that footage of them letting the last meth head free after he failed his pee test.
I was about to get on the elevator. A woman smiled at me and stepped aside. and said hello, come on in.
MY response, “stairs”, and I exited the building. Did not mean to be rude, just came out of my mouth. I am being picked up from the DV unit 3rd floor after all.
The guy that did my Pee test was a Pleasure to deal with. Been awhile since I whipped out my dick for a pee test. Funny, you always let out a fart, but this time.. Trying not to. Small one petered out. Meh oh well. He mentioned that other people may come in. I smiled and said, “Well if it’s another man, who gives a s~~~? Odd how that was.
He mentioned to me while going up the stairs, “You know, you did an amazing thing for that woman. Geez, 20 minutes and everyone in the building knows about it? Geebiz. He asked me if there was anything else he could do before my Probation officer come out, I said sure, I’m late for my Probation, would you put a good word in for me and get me arrested so I can get a my jury trial since Vawa is over”. A fist bump and some laughter, and we parted ways.
I think he was still holding my PEE in the other hand. Did not think about that. Hmm. GOod thing the lid was on tight. 🙂
So I see the woman outside, and of course it’s raining outside now. I spoke with her for a bit, and asked her if she was cold, and then told her to go inside and fill out a customer service comment form. It took me some time to explain it to her, but she nodded. I told her she could sit inside and stay warm and take all the time to fill out the form she needed.
I went up to the Public defender’s office and asked if there was someone I could talk to about this woman and why she was left to fend on her own with the cognitive abilities of a child. Not to mention she stated repeatedly that she was scared and felt she was in danger. But of course, “We have no one to speak with at this time”. Of course another woman.
I’m telling you. All soulless people. Input and output. That’s all.
Coming int to downtown, you see the Tents, and garbage littered all the way in.
This is what Portland and the west has become. A Filth and plight of the world.
Today the line for the soup kitchen stretched the entire block. Here they are, a woman and a man are fighting outside of it. This place feels more like South Africa with white people everyday.
I have to wonder what would happen if these lawmakers had to make law on the Portland streets. They are so out of touch with reality, I don’t think they could draft a SINGLE thing that would ever make a difference in anyone’s life.
And here Oregon is asking for VOlunteers to help with the Veterans side? I thought we just passed a bill to pump even MORE money into the system?
I see a BIG building DOWNTOWN that could HOUSE all of the PDX homeless. Boy, that sure would be swell. I think the MEADE building would make a Nice home for these people. Right next to the Bank. What a Fitting place to put it.
For all our money we spend, almost none of it goes to where it should be spent. Just to feed some Fat asses Coffee and Cream Pie addiction.
State workers should work outside and be in the tents for a week.
I use to think women were cold due to their physiology. Not anymore.
