I can slip into and out of stores, restaurants, crowds, etc. without being noticed simply because women don’t look for men like me. Their many excuses, which back then used to hurt, are comfort to me now. I actually had a lady friend who I dated tell me she got depressed after turning 40. The problem she had was men treated her different. So basically she gained weight, looked older, and wasn’t getting a quarter of the attention like she used to.
