It is a lie that marriage make men healthy, women always choose healthy men to marry! Marriage have nothing to do with it! (They are rare cases where women marry unhealthy men, see sickly old men who can leave huge inheritance.)
Before marriage the men is already healthier group due to their genes / lifestyle / environment. If you take this group of men out and label them “Married Men” of course they will be healthier then the rest of the men. If you swap the label to “Unmarried Men” this group will be healthier too.
See how the overwhelming majority of wives treat their husband, they don’t cook and clean well and put drama / stress on their men. Is that healthy? I suspect these already healthier men will life longer if they are not married.
Second the case study is heavily bias. They only take samples from still married men, not divorced men. How is it fair? If you only take cases of still successful marriage and omit failed marriage, of course the not yet divorce men are still healthier. Suicidal thoughts and suicide attempts were three times higher among divorced men.

If you include the failed marriage, you will see the average health of this group of men plummet. A fairer case study should
1) Include all men that have been married before. Not cherry pick not-yet-divorce men.
2) Compare against men who have similar health rating before marriage, then one group marries and another does not.
As for married men has more money, I am sure the brothers here already know it is because married men have to work more hours to support the family, not because marriage magically increase the married men salary. Marriage have no bearing on men increase wallet, men hard work is the true reason. And even the supposedly “More money” belongs to the wife as she is the one who spend it.
