A top draft choice or free agent pick is some one that has SKILLS that you are willing to sign contract. Your team is expected to be better having some one that has the looks talent and moves that you will spend big bucks to have on your roster.This talent does not have to even get on field(bedroom,kitchen etc) This free agent may have nagging injuries(headache,back pain yeast infections etc.)You can get her off your roster, but the contract she has YOU still have to pay the big bucks for nothin

addiction/alcoholism/drug abuse
parasites
crevasse, gash or other-shaped HOLES
species of fish galore especially Trout and Tuna
Disney princesses
pumpkins (because pumpkins are empty or get carved out which is akin to women’s air-headedness or a hysterectomy too)
the Borg hive mind
box (empty)
scam, trick, con or gamble

The only flaw in your analogy that immediately comes to mind is that the player can’t go play for another team behind your back. In that respect, they are very much NOT like a top draft pick. As a free agent, you can test the waters with several teams and see who is willing to give you most cash and prizes, but once you commit you can’t play for two teams at the same time. You can, however, demand a trade and still get paid.

I think most women are more like a free agent than a draft pick.
