This woman claims that her facebook selfie pic was stolen and used on craiglist sex ad.  The funny thing is she claims men offered thousands of dollars to meet her.  I find this laughable considering she is pretty old and not that attractive.

From wgat I gather, this happens a lot.

There is a program called ‘catfish’ about dating and it amazes me how many people steal photos and use them.

Don’t know what legal implications are thought. Maybe copyright?

I had a photo from an online dating profile from 2007 which I gather made it’s way to Russian Bride website, because I still get emails once or twice a month from Russian women named “Anka” and “Svetlana” who are so desperate for a western man, they will keep emailing me 1/2 way around the world even after I tell them to f~~~ off a dozen times.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

I’m adding this to my list of reasons for staying off social media.

You put it on the internet, you lost control of it. You might be able to claim copyright, but most people on the internet probably wouldn’t honor it, or even care.

she got 100 voicemails?  So the person who stole her photo also stole her cell phone number?  hmmmmm  Probably somebody she knows or, more likely, she did it and got busted and is playing the victim to get off the hook.

Story just doesn’t add up. Did the police not question the fact that she’s unattractive. 100 voicemails? She would be lucky to get 1. Also, after the first couple of such a nature wouldn’t a normal person would contact their mobile phone company to change the number?

You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to see the holes.

It shows the level of white knight behaviour in the police though that they don’t ask themselves those type of questions. They automatically see the woman as the victim and decide to take it seriously. Don’t the police realise the people are laughing at their incompetence that they take things like that seriously but haven’t arrested a women who posts to ‘kill all men’. They should be embarrassed by their incompetence and white knight behaviour. I hope the few real men in the police force (and I know there are some) give them hell and take the p~~~ out of them for being a white knight pussy

$1000.00’s to sleep with her. You know the old joke,

A well-dressed man approached a voluptuously beautiful young woman on the street and said, “Would you have sex with me for a million dollars?”

“For a MILLION dollars?!” she replied, more than a little stunned, “Of course I would!”

“Well, would you sleep with me for twenty five dollars?”

“Twenty five dollars? Don’t be ridiculous! What kind of girl do you take me for, anyway?”

“We’ve already established what kind of girl you are; now we’re just haggling over price.”

The funny thing about that is, people still fall for these pics.

For example, a black guy wanted to meet this woman with an obviously stolen picture of a pornstar. He broke up with his girlfriend just to see her, just to find out that she was actually a dude trying to trick him.

Funny s~~~,I often use the local online Back Pages for company and also use a reverse image search site called Image Raider to see if the chick’s pics are legit. The Asian ones are the worst for stolen pics for some reason,I upload one of their’s into IR and it gives me dozens of sites where this pic (usually a car or bikini model) are being used.

I’m of the steld school of male/female relations ala Back Page. I don’t screen the pics. I use my uncanny ability to pic out the ones that are too good to be true.

I’m batting 2 of 3 are the real deal. The others are scam artists, nothing dangerous, just take you for the sucker you are. They know you can’t call the cops unless it’s serious.

Your a sucker for being anywhere near todays woman, but people have needs. Always remember your not nearly as big a sucker as 99% of the married male population.

If you use Chrome, for giggles when looking at Craigslist, right click and search google for image.  Decent chance it was stolen from somewhere else.

Sounds a little fishy to me. How would some woman’s stolen photo on an ad she had nothing to do with come back to her getting thousands of messages on her personal voicemail?

Actually make that a lot fishy.
