In 2014 we had a very harsh thunderstorm over Western Germany also hitting the Rheingau “Mountains” taking down all kinds of trees and even blocking roads.

But my body was heavily poisoned and I enjoyed that extra fresh air and wanted to go to my favorite spot in the deep “Backland” forest.

2 roadblocks did not stop me… I drove around them and while I went down the main road – through that valley, I saw a man sitting in a puddle and waving his hands. And his car door open, all lights on and it looked like a crime scene.

The cold rain was about to come down like rocks and he saw me and said: “I can’t get up, I can still drive but my feet are sick and he accidentally thought he could take a p~~~ but collapsed…

No one had stopped to help him. He counted 26 cars passing and no one caring. And on this deserted road 26 cars is “many”.

I had to pull him up, pulled his pants up and bring him to his car. I escorted him home and he was full of gratitude.

He would have died in that cold rain and the night was closing in.

Hell it looked like a crime scene, the man looked like he had been robbed and shot in the legs, waving his hands in desperation.

And I “the man foolish enough” to drive around in that weather and endanger himself had to say “who gives a s~~~”, there is someone who needs help.
I left the keys in the lock of the car, so if it had been a trap I could have taken off at lightning speed. But no one wants to steal a 17 year old VW T4 Bus with a unique company logo and special modifications on it…

26 cars passed while to me it was clear at first sight that there is something wrong. Of course, I subconsciously checked for traces of crooks hiding behind the trees…

One thing you must learn in an emergency is to bark orders at bystanders and not expect them to do a damn thing on their own, that’s just the way it is.

People basically go to s~~~ in the heat of the moment, they just do. I once stopped at a head-on collision and pulled the steering wheel up through the broken windshield so the driver could breath, his friend in the passenger seat had the death rattle thing going on, I think he died. Then I got the f~~~ outta there when the emergency crew arrived (to avoid any liability). Sad we have to think that way but we do.

When i was young a car had rolled down into a gutter in the middle of the highway . There were a few people there before me just standing looking down and you could see a very old lady hanging upside down kinda as the car was on it’s roof . I could see a bit of smoke and could smell petrol . I went straight down as the c~~~s up the top watched . I got down to the car and thought she was dead as it looked like her neck was broken . Didn’t give a f~~~ i wanted her out and didn’t want her to be a part of the fire . As i was partly in the car trying to undo the seat belt she begun to moan and was alive . I remember trying to comfort her saying in a kind voice …… its ok i am getting ya out its ok . F~~~in couldn’t get the belt undone . Next minute a trucky was down with me and cut the belt with his knife as i held her . We got her as carefully as we could up the embankment away from the car . We left her with the f~~~tards that were rubber neckin where they all of a sudden became helpful and could hear the ambo comming . I herd on the radio that she died and they asked for the people witch got her out to come forward . I never did . The car did catch fire wich must of been after we left . Sure the trucky didn’t come forward either .

It really p~~~ed me of for some time how people were willing to watch someone dead or alive be incinerated .

To the best of my memory . My memory is getting better .
