I have been a long time lurker on this fine website and I decided that I would finally participate and post this article because it got me angry when I saw it, I thought nothing could surprise me with women these days as I have seen most of their tricks but boy was I wrong. Women are bad at putting ourselves first. But when you have a child, you learn how to self-advocate to put the needs of your family first. A well-crafted “meternity” can give you the same skills — and taking one shouldn’t disqualify you from taking maternity leave later.

I saw this and immediately started laughing. Women are actually good at putting themselves first. Look at the majority of divorce cases. Look at most broken marriages, or marriages in general.

The real issue is this fat land whale of a woman wants something for nothing. Typical female mindset. Work is hard, I deserve a break but I can’t find someone dumb enough to knock me up. So I should get some me time because I deserve it. She deserves nothing.

She’s basically saying that she struggles with leaving work on-time, or taking vacations, because she doesn’t have kids or family to take care of. I never understood why people find it so hard to say “I’m leaving now, see you tomorrow”. What I do with my time when I’m not at the job is no one else’s business.

Her problem is herself, not the company. And that line about being women being bad about putting themselves first? BS. Don’t pretend, you’re working overtime because you care about the company, you’re doing it because you think it’ll be good for your career and you’re afraid of what will happen if you don’t.

This article is right up there in stupidity with the following;
I would like all the perks of gambling in casinos (being comped and winning) without actually having to wager any of my own money.
