Yes indeed some “hive” of bull dyke man-wannabes claiming to be Catholic have ordained (whatever that means to them) a woman priest. This is of course without the authority of the official church but does that little detail stop them—hell no.

Now as men you might be asking the perfectly logical question: wait a minute the whole point of a particular religion is that it is founded on a number of beliefs/dogma and if one does not accept those beliefs then one doesn’t belong to the religion—sooooo if woman are excluded from the priesthood as a matter of belief then how can these women describe themselves as Catholic if clearly they don’t ascribe to the belief system….ANSWER: The hamster wheel knows no bounds!

I guess the part I DON”T get is; Why hasn’t this ‘rebellious group” of Catholics been removed from LEADERSHIP positions in the Church long ago, and definitely why are they allowed to do this and CONTINUE ??

It sure appears that as long as Rome gets their cut, they’re letting anything go, but one would think that they wouldn’t want to look like they’re approving of this, or are they “testing the waters” so to speak ??

Personally, it doesn’t matter to me one way or the other, but this Story leads to some interesting questions .?????

This association of women priests states in their policy statement:

“The unique focus of the Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests is on justice and equality: We seek equality for women in the church including decision-making and ordination.”

In other words its another power grab under the banner of “equality”.

That is why being a nun is “insufficient” for them—no power or authority. Their goal isn’t to serve God rather it is to reward their own sense of pride by power grabbing.

Isn’t the Catholic Church some what Gynocentric with their worshiping of Mary/Mother which appears to be quite unique to the Catholic denomination of Christianity ??

Is it possible that the Catholic Leadership is opening the door to Female Priests as a way to increase dwindling members/donations ??

Personally, I have No Idea, No Concerns, and NO F~~~s Given either way just Curious Questions ??

****DISCLAIMER****I’m DEFINATELY NOT trying to start a battle with ANYONE about Catholocism or ANY other religion !! Just asking questions ??

They went down down down in a burning ring of fire, and it burns burns burns, that ring of fire, that ring of fire.

Gather round folks, step right up! Today’s show is titled “how the snake strangled the church” starring Madusa Seduce’ya!

Watch what happens now! All three, the church, women, and the state going down in a ring of fire!

First off, nobody worships Mary/Mother of Jesus. Secondly yes the Catholic church is going down the same road as the Episcopal Church and other mainstream churches et al. Faced with an aging membership and dwindling number of new members they decided in their “wisdom” that the answer to fixing this lies in being “diverse”, “inclusive” and not so “judgmental” I’m sure some woman dreamed up this nonsense. This of course isn’t going to solve the problem rather it will accelerate the decline of the faith.

What these idiots do not understand is that for a religion to maintain believers it actually has to stand for something—like truth; it has to have rules, principals, ethics etc. When a church stands for nothing but “feel good” social policies there is really no reason to belong anymore. As a Baptist Minister said once in a homily: “It is better they we be divided by truth, than unified in error.” Until they get that message they will continue on the path to oblivion.

I guess I should have used the term venerate, but it appears pretty similar to me, but I’m not one to know the difference.

Do you think your average catholic “Praying to Mary” knows the difference between worshipping and venerating ??

This of course isn’t going to solve the problem rather it will accelerate the decline of the faith.

Are you equating “the decline of the faith” with a continued decline in church membership in the western World, or a decline solely in the “faith” ?

Let them try this on the religion of Islam and see how far they get.
Islamic faith is strongly, instantly and brutally defensive of any attempts to subvert it in any way.
That’s why it’s the worlds fastest growing religion.
I don’t think the Feminists are going to like it when it actually becomes compulsory to convert.
Me? NFG for their fate. They wanted it and celebrated any attack on Christianity which opposed it.

At least I don’t have to pay a BBC Licence fee to go down the town square and watch the entertainment that our Islamic brothers will be providing in the near future.

Not to play semantics but worship is inclusive of veneration but veneration does not necessarily mean worship; for example no one (that I know of) prays TO Mary, rather one asks Mary to intercede with your prayer to God. She is thus an advocate of your case as it were.

Are you equating “the decline of the faith” with a continued decline in church membership in the western World, or a decline solely in the “faith” ?

Yes to the former no to the latter.

Exactly the point. We may not agree with what it stands for but at least it has the virtue of standing for “something”. It divides believers from non-believers which creates a reason to join.

Though it hurts to say it, I’ll be perfectly honest. The modern church is gynocentric all the way to its rotten heretical core. It’s been completely infected with modernism (as St. Pius X of happy memory predicted it would be). The “pope” (if he’s even a real pope, which I doubt very much) probably approves of this bulls~~~.

If I were not a Catholic, and thinking of becoming one, walking into a Church would be the only action required to immediately decide against it. F~~~ing fat women everywhere doing the readings (contrary to the teachings of St. Paul), handing out the Eucharist (sacrilegious), and basically running the place while the mangina priest sits quietly back and does nothing. Worse, all the homilies and sermons are tinted with heresy, and the Biblical teachings about the nature of women are quietly slid under the tablecloth where they won’t offend anyone.

But let me tell you: old school Catholicism (think high middle ages) is a f~~~ing manly religion. It was Catholic monks who preserved classical literature and history which has survived to the current day. It was the Catholic Church that covered the western world with schools and hospitals for all. It was the Catholic Church that funded advances in mathematics and science. It was the Catholic Church that stood alone against the Muslim invaders, stemming the tide of the invasion in Europe and weakening their tyranny in the Middle East. I’m still a Catholic because old school Catholics got it right, and the official teachings of the Church don’t change no matter how heretical its modern day practitioners may be.

The Church has always understood the differences between men and women and assigned them roles based on these differences. Pete already explained the whole Mary question, and it’s worth adding that we venerate Mary because her OBEDIENCE to God’s will makes her a role model for women in the Catholic Church.
